About

High in the mountains, an endless train thunders through a decaying station. This is the Border Post. Your job is simple: blow a whistle to keep the train on schedule. But the air is thin up here.
Don’t speak. Don’t run. Don’t look in the train. Just do your job. It’ll all be over soon.
It isn’t impossible to breathe in the Border Post. Just impossible to catch your breath. Every exertion is another foot in the grave. Each blow of your whistle is a death sentence. Your only reprieve are air canisters rationed out for your good work. So you better be a good worker.
There’s no shortage of tasks to keep you busy during your shift. Deliver reports. Clean the water filter. Collect discarded wood. And don’t worry about that smell.
Mo is your friend and fellow Border Post worker. His shift is over, but he’ll happily come running if you call. He’ll answer any questions you might have. Well, except for that question. He wouldn’t lie to you. Don’t make him.
Your choices matter. Which choices? What country are you from? How could it matter? Experience a semi-linear narrative where every moment could be a new branching path. Or not. Such is life.

THRESHOLD hits the sweet spot if you're looking for lean, weird, PSX horror (like I am).
This game is super unique and I loved it, bizarre/unsettling atmosphere and not really something I can compare to anything else. Don't take my playtime into account as I tend to have a lot of idle time in games, but I do highly recommend.
my playtime is recent high bc i am uniquely good at softlocking myself in videogames. this should take you like three hours to 100% at most. and it rocks

The gameplay wasn't bad, but I wouldn't really call it a horror game. It also has multiple endings. I didn't go back to see them all myself but if you're interested, there's a reason to play through it more than once. Overall a 7.2/10 game.
Unusual and inventive take on retro\VHS horror, more reminiscent of Iron Lung and a bit of Papers, Please. You have a small location where you have to perform your duties and keep the train running. It has a great atmosphere of a creepy, somewhat cosmic totalitarian regime that gradually reveals itself together with the story and gameplay mechanics. Just a really good, short horror experience. Highly recommended for horror fans.
It's okay
eh bah
game good
First ending start to finish took me an hour and ten minutes, didn't see any bugs, and there's checkpoints especially at the end so you can get most of the endings one after the other. Complete opposite experience from some of the other reviewers and not sure why.
