Picked this up on a whim. Thought provoking with fun combat. I may go back to follow the other routes sometime.
Short, very psychologically dense little shooter. Not hard, not complicated, just a story with some shooting to break-up the walking.
It's bad, it's so bad. It's so bad in fact that, after trying to play a little more, I'm back to rewrite a review to say how bad it is. It's a watered down boomer shooter that pretends to be a "psychological horror" for the clicks. The gameplay is dull and uninspired, it might as well be a high schoolers first RPG maker style of game. The "writing" in the game reflects this, too. It reads like a 2007 Tumblr kids fanfic that they're trying to pass off as the plot to a video game. At the very least they let you see your objective in the pause menu so you can more or less skip all the dialogue and save yourself having to physically cringe reading any of it. I'll probably go back and finish the game at some point, maybe clean up the achievements, but I don't recommend any one else do it. I definitely wouldn't pay $9.99 for this, I don't remember what I paid but it was probably too much.
Game where there are mazes and shooting. Pixelated for the most part, there are NPCs and stories that complete your journey. Multiple endings possible. Fairly short game with each playing running a few hours. Pros: Interesting story Existential crisis bonus Creepy cats Free social anxiety Drunk sloth Cons: No permanent weapon upgrades Enemies could be annoyingly fast judgement
it was very emotional for me as it touched on existence and the universe, meaning of life and death and i have been stuck in that loop for a long time. it hurts to be reminded of it this way but it brings comfort in some way.
