This Grand Life is a slightly less balanced, single player, Jones In The Fast Lane style board game. Your main focus is balancing the health, fun, and hunger bars all while working for money, saving or investing, and travelling between the places where you do those things. There is a fairly undeveloped relationship function, with no real minigame or balance towards the number of children, or the effects from them. It's still great fun as a simple game played in half hour bursts.
Its a decent-enough implementation of a type of game where you grind through daily decisions and progress your character through daily life. It is repetitive, but light enough to make it worth it overall.
Fun game, quite addictive. Other reviews complaining about lack of depth, story, graphics etc.. The game cost £6.50. For that price it is well worth it. You can invest in various things, play the stock market, buy/sell/rent houses and apartments. Try to time the swings of the economy. Get college degrees and progress different careers. It's a fun little simulator, management and min/max kinda game.
its just rather dull and not at all fun. No notable random pop up events, just the same boring click through the same 10 or so buttons non stop
Easy to play, if you're a busy person or need to get up and do something it's not time based. Definitely shows how challenging it is to juggle a job, study and trying to keep yourself fed and sane at the same time.
Игра сама по себе очень небольшая по количеству механик. Бизнес реализован слабо. Ощущается что игра сильно урезана

The graphics leave something to be desired, and at first glance it looks at first like the game would not be very fun. But let me tell you ... I've had the game 2 days, I work and have children ... and I've still gotten 12 hrs played so far. It is ADDICTING. I hit my life goals on about hour 7-8 ... and I'm still playing the same life just to see how far I can go. This is my personal sandbox tester life I suppose. I created a business, dated, got married, bought a mansion then rented out my old penthouse. We keep "yahoo"-ing but no baby yet ;) This is the ultimate time AND money management game. Thus far, I can't think of a single thing I don't like. Wait, a couple. I would like the option to make partial payments on principal loans/mortgages (currently you have to have the balance in full to pay off). Secondly, it greatly annoys me the lady at the bank asks if she can interest me in some credit cards ... but those aren't an option to apply for. Y DO U ASK ME DIS DEN? Ha. Great game though, for real.
not worth the price, game becomes boring after few hours. you have to repeat the same tasks like eating resting and working, not very well optimised
its got a dynamic stock market simulated in game. Can't find much of that for some reason.
