Thief II: The Metal Age

I played this for over 100 hours, but that was 20 years ago. The game is 26 years old and cannot be played on modern PC's. It was a great game at the time. But wow, pc gaming has come a long way since then.

only issues are because the age of this game newer pc's display the game with a dark screen and the slider for gamma is unuseable but it iss still a very goo game. supposedly there aere unoficale pathes availablwe to correct this

Thief 2 takes what is already an interesting baseline and amps it up considerably for a bit scuffed but still incredible experience of a game. 4.5/5

Thief II is an all time great stealth game. I think its predecessor is just a little bit better, but this game holds up due to its excellent level design and stealth mechanics. Worth a playthrough for anyone even slightly interested in stealth games. 9/10

I might come back and edit if things change, but so far this game has better level design than The Dark Project. I got lost *a lot* in the first game. Granted, I am directionally challenged in general, but I really struggled. I'm having a much easier time navigating in The Metal Age. Again, that may or may not change; I'm still early-on in the game. But this playthrough thus far hasn't been frustrating or tedious...
