Даже не знаю зачем в это играть, как минимум не интересно
A great classic-style RTS that I have a few quibbles with. The campaign has a good amount of mission variety, the style and humor of the game fits the setting (somewhere between Fallout and a Blizzard game) and the Workshop support means I can be playing maps forever if I want to. My complaints are two-fold: first, while the final game eased up on the difficulty a little bit, the standard base-building missions can still be very frustrating even at lower difficulty levels, particularly with the lack of save-scumming available (without using non-standard workarounds). I appreciate that it was a deliberate choice and some of it is just that I don't have the patience anymore to butt my head against difficult videogames (don't get old, kids) but having a few more options to tweak the difficulty (zombies spawned from destroyed towers, HP/damage levels) could've easily solved this and allowed old RTS-heads like me to enjoy the building and mowing down enemies part without having to do so much micro. The other is the lack of content. I understand that Numantian is a relatively small team and you can't ask for TOO much from a $30 game but this game could've used a couple more mission types and, ideally, co-op. Gonna hope and pray for a sequel for some of that. We need more games in this genre with this level of polish and I sincerely hope a sequel (or another RTS game with similar mechanics) is in the works.
