I really enjoyed it all the way thru. Although it is a short game, it really keeps you captivated to play the entire time. And I absolutely loved the credits. This might be the first game I actually sat through and watches the entire credits.
This game is fun, short and the voice controls work ok most of the time, even being a little janky sometimes I think its very fun and I liked to use it very much. The game can be a little hard on the last missions. The story is nice, the characters are nice and the visuals are nice, its a nice game all and all. Even tho the game is quite cheap I got it at a discount, I recommend it even at full price. It has tons of different languages for you to use, your native language is probably one of those.
If you are not native or super perfect speaker of supported languages don't play this game. Voice commands work less than half of the time. There is no option to see how the game understands the commands, so adding custom commands is pointless. I've used in the background speech to text software that some commands translated spot on, but the game did not register them. There is an option to manually command units, but farther in the game theye are super inefficient (Mission 8 is the prime example).
the problem is that the voice commands didn't seem to work all that well when things started getting more hectic and also it said you didn't have to exact commands but I didn't find that to be the case where if I didn't use exact wording then they wouldn't respond
Make sure the game understands you as soon as you've bought it. If it doesn't, return it before it's too late. The game gives you the option to make a custom command. Unfortunately you have to write it instead of recording it, so whether the game can understand your pronunciation of your custom command or not, probably, depends on a combination of whether it already understands you and luck (or a lot of work, I guess).
Neat proof of concept; don't think I'd play it again though.
Fun game... Some things to be aware of though... The gimmick is that your team is entirely voice controlled, so you'll need to use your mic. Personally I had a lot of fun with this especially when it got fast-paced and during shootouts, but some players may not like the voice controls and prefer using the on-screen controls, which reduces it to just a regular strategy game. The game has an interesting story, which may compensate for some of the clunky gameplay. Most importantly, the OST (by Big Giant Circles) is just as awesome as you would expect. It was one of the main reasons I decided to try this game. Overall I think the game is totally worth the price, but there isnt much replayability, so you may want to get it on sale.
Stylish, fun, and a great strategy game! Playing with voice commands was super fun and made me feel like a badass. Eventually I did default to keyboard/mouse because the missions are challenging enough to require precision. Recommended!
voice thingy works like ass i think but atleast you could do them with just button 7.3/10
