Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 25.86/day in the week to Sep 9 → 60.57/day in the week after.
One market had a chart position on both sides of this cut. One sale in one country is an anecdote — read it next to the store-wide figures below.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 16: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I hope the character has passive stats that make it so that the controls tighten up, so I can actually drive... and hunt... where's the compass? why do my hands disappear for long periods of time that I can't control? There's actual HUNTING in this, right?(EDIT: saw 1 bird on ground, never shot. saw flock in the air, tried for one. confirmed, after 2 hours, I was able to shoot a goose out of the air with a rifle.) How do I have $5000, and yet still have insufficient funds to buy ANYTHING??? set to fullscreen. doesn't reliably DO fullscreen. apparently the "niose meter" is either invisible to the human eye, or it doesn't exist. does the dog actually DO ANYTHING? WHY WON'T YOU KEEP TO FULL SCREEN?????? popping in and out is just infuriating! Where's the carcass? buddy can't hold a gun, shoot or track worth a sht! GO GO GO GO GO!! can you ateast WALK???? I guess walking is running and standing still alerts animals to your presence. shoot a deer and a bear in vital organs. no carcass. wonderful.

Review: theHunter: Call of the Wild A superb hunting simulator that gets nearly everything right — graphics, sound, weapons, animal behavior, tracking, and stalking. This Is a Hunting Sim, Not a Shooting Sim Let's set expectations right away: this is not an action game. It's a true hunting and stalking simulator, and it absolutely nails that experience. The Dolby Atmos soundscape is phenomenal, dropping you into the middle of a vibrant wilderness biome full of dynamic animals going about their day. That means you'll spend a LOT of time traveling between hunting locations and slowly, methodically stalking your prey. Success comes from learning animal trails and paths, and understanding how those affect where animals will be at certain times of day. Wander in the wrong direction and you can easily go 30 minutes of real time without seeing a single track — and each map has its own quirks and randomness that keep things interesting. The Real Game Is in the Details What this game rewards most is attention to the meta-details: What line connects the earliest and longest tracks on your display? Can you anticipate where an animal is headed based on its speed and direction? Can you close the distance to land a gold or diamond-rated shot? And the fun question: which trophies will you mount in your lodge? Gear Matters (and So Does the DLC) Like a lot of games these days, the devil is in the DLC. If you want the best experience, plan on picking up several of the DLC weapons, gear packs, and map locations. Each adds custom storylines to complete (which means more XP), and you'll want good gear to progress through them smoothly. There's nothing worse than finally finding your target and realizing your loadout can't get the job done — and yes, hunting rabbits with 10-gauge slugs is a bit of overkill in the other direction. The Wild Bites Back Make no mistake, there are real dangers out there. I've been knocked down or killed by wolf packs, stampeding bison, and rampaging boar. Once enraged, these animals are tougher to drop — they'll charge, pursue, and attack, and trying to land a headshot while dancing around trees to avoid getting trampled is no easy task. My advice: go the silent route with a bow when you can. But that won't save you from wolf packs. For those, you'll want a big shotgun or a .45 revolver — and a bit of luck. Wolves show up in groups of 2 to 8, and even three is a serious threat. The good news: their combat AI isn't great. They're slow to pounce because they have to trace a path to you through the terrain, so you can kite them fairly easily. Landing a clean heart shot while doing it, though? Not easy. I've died to three separate packs, but I also managed to take down a complete pack of five with 10-gauge steel birdshot. I knew if I stopped to switch ammo they'd overwhelm me, so I kited and kept shooting — after 2–3 solid hits each, they started dropping. I swear the big one soaked three .45 rounds to the shoulders, a 600-grain arrow to the side, and two loads of birdshot before he finally went down. Sadly, only two of the five ended up trophy-worthy; the rest took too much ammo, and I just started aiming for the head. The shotgun will definitely stun them, at least. Progression: Slow but Rewarding Leveling feels a tad slow, but every level unlocks a skill or perk that meaningfully improves stealth or accuracy — the core of the game. The XP system rewards careful, quality play: a single hard-difficulty trophy harvest is worth more than gunning down a whole herd of trivial roe deer. You can do that if the opportunity presents itself, but it's largely not worth your time. One big old moose will net you more XP than a pile of easy kills. Verdict If you want instant action, look elsewhere. But if the idea of reading tracks, playing the wind, and earning that perfect diamond harvest appeals to you, theHunter: Call of the Wild is one of the best in the genre.
