The Zachtronics Solitaire Collection

Good games.

After 24 hours of playtime, I can safely say that this is an excellent addition to my steam library. If you like Solitaire you're gonna love this one. Individually, each of these games are fun little games to play on there own; rewarding careful forethought in plotting a sequence of cards. But together, the designs coalesce and build off of one another. If you get good at one game, you get good at these other variants that have similar, but different, rules. If this game were ice cream, it's got lots of flavors of Solitaire. Sawayama Solitaire is like regular Klondike, but instead you have the cards faced up at the start. Cribbage Solitaire is sort of like playing Poker in bridging numbers together and scoring points. Kabufuda Solitaire is scary because it doesn't have numbers; just suites and a slot (or a few) to store cards. And Fortune's Foundation uses a full set of tarot cards. A good chunk of my hours come from looking intently at these cards. Did I mess up, and I've lost the game 2-3 steps ahead? My eyes dart at my options. There isn't a solver tool that lets you know that the game is in an unwinnable state, unlike some software. But compared to regular Klondike where you're dealt cards that you can't win with, I think it's not as necessary. This game is entertaining for a thinker/planner such as myself. I find it quite enriching. I recommend this set of games for fans of card games (especially of the card-sorting kind), people that are short on time and just want a quick game, and general audiences of any gaming background (casual or hardcore). This collection is well-designed and curated. Well put together, researched, and presented with excellence.

is good game. I like that there are QOL improvements compared to how they are in their respective games, plus the new one is my favorite. Hated it at first and it took a long time to get the hang of it. Definitely worth the price.

[h3]ソリティアコレクションゲーム[/h3] 8種のソリティアが遊べるゲーム。 と言っても完全新作ではなく、この会社の過去のゲームからのミニゲームの移植らしい。 1つはほぼクロンダイク。1つは完全新作。6つは移植だが、元のゲームをやっていなければ新作のソリティアとして楽しめるだろう。 ソリティア1つ1つのクオリティは悪くない。何と言ってもグラフィックが綺麗で面白い。 ルールはほぼクロンダイクの亜種だが、まあ世の中のソリティアは大体そうなのでそれでよい。 ただ、そのソリティア内でやることはただ解くことしかなく、難易度選択があるのは1つだけなので、一回クリアしたらもうやり込む理由がない。 しかも全体的に簡単な難易度が多いので、あっという間にクリアしてしまった。 最後の完全新作ソリティアは結構難しかったので、全部クリアを目指してやればサクッと楽しめると思う。そこから先はただの遊びです。 面白いだけに、もうちょっとやり込み要素が欲しかった。
