Önceki sezonlardan farklı olarak bu sefer yeni bir karakteri kontrol ediyoruz. İlk başta Clementine'dan farklı bir karakteri yönetmek biraz garip hissettirse de oyun bunu güzel yönetmiş. Flashback'lerle birlikte hem yeni hikâyeyi takip ediyoruz hem de Clementine'ın yaşadıklarını görmeye devam ediyoruz. Onun hikâyesinin arka planda ilerlemesi güzel yapılmış. Arada kopukluk yaşanmıyor. Yeni karakterler genel olarak başarılı. Bazıları gerçekten akla kazınıyor ve hikâyeye katkı sağlıyor. Serinin sürekli aynı şeyleri yaparak tekrara düşmemesi için yeni bir ekibin merkezde olması bence oyuna farklı bir hava katmış. Grafik tarafında değişiklikler var. Çizim tarzı ve modellemeler geliştirilmiş ama açıkçası önceki oyunla çok fark yok, hemen hemen aynı. Oynanış tarafında ise seri çizgisini korumuş, seriyi sırayla oynarsanız yabancılık çekmezsiniz. Hikâye ilk iki sezon kadar vurucu değil. Özellikle ilk sezonun seviyesine çıkamıyor ama yine de merak ettiriyor ve kendini oynatıyor. Yer yer olaylar Aşk-ı Memnu kıvamına yaklaşsa da genel olarak eğlenceli bir hikâye olmuş. Ayrıca verdiğimiz kararların olaylara etkisi eski oyunlardaki gibi korunmuş, bu da güzel olmuş. Son olarak, Clem kırmızı çizgimizdir, kimse onu pazarlık malzemesi yapamaz. Conrad'ın kafasına sıkmayan adam değildir. Özetle: İlk iki sezon kadar etkileyici olmasa da kesinlikle kötü bir devam oyunu değil. Yeni karakterler, farklı bakış açısı seriye güzel bir çeşitlilik katmış. Seriyi oynuyorsanız, bu oyunu ana karakter Clem değil diye sakın atlamayın.
