Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.29/day in the week to Aug 22 → 3/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

There is something that is particularly upsetting about this third rendition of The Walking Dead, not even particularly because they take you away from Clementine's story, but because you are forced to watch a character you care about in regard of how you were building them up to be based on your choices, completely throw them out the window now that you cannot control them at all. Clem's actions and word choices annoyed me the entire time because I played Lee to be logical in his anger and compassionate in his choices even if they seemed dumb in the matters of survival, and in the second game I played Clementine in the same "what would Lee do?" way. A Clementine that shoots some guy for selling her fake bullets and roots for revenge over safety or family is not my Clementine, and it makes me wonder why they chose to have her in this game at all if not for the sole purpose of upsetting the player or for a quick "here, damn." since they knew the players were not going to like that they couldn't play Clem. That being said, Gabe was insanely annoying and it upsets me even more that, if you want an ending where you can get rid of him, it's imperative that you play Clementine in the flashbacks in a way you never would have. My Clem would never spit on David's face instead of saying goodbye to goofball, but I will take getting rid of Gabe over lore accuracy a million times. The choice to somehow make Clementine out of all people have some sort of crush in one of the most annoying, ass-backwards kid you will meet in The Walking Dead is... a choice for sure. He had to go. If you try looking at this game without a Clementine-centric lense... it doesn't get any better. Thumbs down regardless.

The Walking Dead: A New Frontier (6.5/10)
i don't hate this game but comparing it to the other games in the series this is the worst of them
Imma be honest at the start I was hella disappointed that I wasn't playing as Clem anymore, but I ended up liking Javier. What I didn't like was pretty much his entire fckazz family. I didn't really care when Mari died because the game barely gave me any time to get attached to her. Gabe was the ♥♥♥♥ that annoyed me so much that I was actually glad when he died in my playthrough. Didn't care for his relationship with Clem because it felt forced. Kate constantly got on my nerves, seriously shes a down bad wh!re, who was willing to spread her legs any second without a thought abt David and speaking of David he was somehow even worse. How are you going to disappear for years, never tell your family you're alive, and then expect me to immediately care about your problems? The moment Clementine showed up, it was over. I was willing to get Javier's entire family killed if it meant protecting her. After spending two seasons with Clem, she's still the character I care about most, and every scene with her was automatically more interesting than whatever drama the Garcias were dealing with. Also, Jesus was easily one of the best characters in the game.
A lot of people claim that this a weak entry in the walking dead games. I disagree. Solid plotline with meaningful choices, new and improved graphics and quick time events, characters that dynamically change and react... It's all really great stuff. Loved it.
