You can definitely see where this is going, as well as a clear path to getting there. Having just been released into early access this is an incredibly rough draft, bugs and poorly described mechanics abound and a lot of the graphics seem like placeholders (particularly dungeons, which I hope will see a substantial rework at some point). The early game is extremely grindy in a non-fun way, you'll be doing a ton of begging which entails pressing 3 buttons over and over and over just to scrape together the money for your first expedition, where you'll probably get clobbered by the guardians and left penniless again. As I said though, it's early access and a lot of this is placeholder. The two criteria I usually take to an early access title are "is it fun now" and "will it be finished". It is pretty fun now. The above issues aside, the humor behind the game is good but the world such a simple system was able to create is even better. I've only scratched the surface so far as to what you can do in this game, and while it needs a ton of polish it already has a ton of heart and charm. As far as whether it will be finished obviously that's impossible to say for sure, but I would happily bet $20 on this developer. They're responsive and have exploded into EA with 3 updates, a hotfix, and a poll less than a month into it. I am a touch concerned by the Early Access period only being 6 months (in my experience that means at least a year), but this is one I believe enough in the potential to take a chance on. Anyway I like it, you should get it.
hey, why spend the money that could buy a M&B but just buy this game?? this game doesn't worth it, not at all,,,, it even can't called a semi-finished product,, suggest waiting more update come out if you guys wanna buy,,
