The Trud

The Trud tentou ser um joguinho massa de terror indie, mas alguma coisa aconteceu ali no meio que o jogo desandou e virou mais um dos milhares jogos de terror indie que não pegou. The Trud - это та игра, в которую не стоит играть перед сном. Проиграв в ней 2 часа, я готов сказать что игра не так ужасна, как многие подобные ей игры. В ней очень хорошо передана атмосфера заброшенной школы. Так же для своего бюджета катсцены показаны не в худшем виде. Сюжет игры интересен, а концовка очень не обычная. Графика не режет глаза, а геймплей удобен.

Little late to the party but it was very creepy, atmospheric the intro was very long I was sat there waiting for it to end. Give credit how erie it was during the game thinking that something was going to happen all the time kept me on edge. Decent amount of gameplay to get through I think i had over an hour of gameplay, got stuck a lot during the game had to keep checking every corner for fuses and keys but a really good horror game I really enjoyed it also the character movement was very buggy kept walking sideways for some reason its been out for a few months now and I thought maybe it would of been fixed and also the game stutters sometimes but didn't bother me as much. Just no, this was pretty awful. It ticks all the boxes of horrid throwaway Steam horror game. The developer claimed this was a much improved version so I dread to think what the original one was like. There were such bad bugs in this. In the first encounter with the main monster I fell through the floor and into the level geometry about 3 times. And then towards the end the game broke to the point where it wouldn't save anymore. Thankfully I had a save just prior to this so I was able to just push through. Though I then did clip through the environment again just before the end and had to reload, again. It took about an hour and a half to complete, and would have been far shorter without the bugs, though honestly the short runtime was a mercy. And it just wasn't clear what you were supposed to be doing at all time, so you end up spending most of your time in-game just wandering around the same corridors again and again, hoping the next bit of story will trigger. And the worst crime of all, it just wasn't scary. It's compounds the lack of scares by chaining the game to a chaotic, nonsensical storyline which gets washed away at the end as it's [spoiler] all a dream, at least that's what I gathered when after the climax of the story when you've been horribly disfigured by having your arm axed off, you wake to find it still there [/spoiler]. Avoid at all costs.
