Larry The Unlucky Part 3

I enjoyed Larry The Unlucky Parts 1 and 2. Both were short puzzlers with a Rusty Lake Cube Escape feel. Both are free and are good for a break from complex gaming. I am not as big a fan of Part 3. It is a longer game that is broken into 4 parts that can be played in any order and do not really tie together. There is no real story that makes sense and no ending (just, game over). It is filled with a wide variety of puzzles and 'find and use' inventory exercises. These range from easy to incredibly tedious, with a slider puzzle being my least favorite of all. A hint system is provided but, rather than suggest the objective of the puzzle, you are often just presented with the puzzle solution. The game appears to save on exit and I was not aware of losing progress. I did not find an 'exit' button so quitting required a hard exit (Alt-Tab out and then using the Steam 'Stop' button to shut down the game). Achievements were all story related so you are assured 100% if you complete all areas. I would recommend this title only if you are a fan of games which string together a bunch of puzzles for puzzles sake.

If you like point and click puzzle games, I think you will enjoy this one. Despite having only four levels, the game is decently long and has quite a variety of puzzles. Puzzles here are not extremly easy and aren't limited to simply finding a clue that shows the entire solition. Clues are actual clues which is very nice. Although I would love to have some variety to the hint system. In some puzzles it's not really obvious, which parts of it are interactable, but opening the hint just gives you the entire solution instead of... well.. a hint. While the game itself is quite good, it doesn't really work as a part of "Larry The Unlucky" series for me. It lacks the wierdness and gruesomness of the first two games. Because of that the game left an impression of being kind of generic, but with really good puzzles, instead of being a good conclusion to the series.

Larry The Unlucky系列第三彈，也是唯一不是免費的版本。然而價格很親民，而且內容也豐富了很多。 免費的前兩作都可以一小時內快樂的點完，但第三集謎題的難度跟小遊戲的量都大爆增。 我無法忘記打開遊戲後第一個按進去就是俄羅斯方塊（x）的衝擊…… 然後即便Hint很好用，也會發生小遊戲本身操作有難度導致在那裡卡了半小時的事件…… 但總之我覺得對喜歡傳統點擊脫出類的人來說是物超所值的一款。

总体来看，3的趣味性要比1和2要低，而且结局有点太仓促了，有点意犹未尽，不过如果看做三部加起来这个价格，就能接受，故事也算比较完整有意思

3,5 Std später und 1,27€ ärmer bin ich endlich fertig mit dieser super dämlichen Spielreihe. Während man für die ersten beiden Teile keine Hilfe von Youtube walktroughs gebraucht hat, brauchte man dafür in Teil 3 umso mehr. Ich hasse dieses Game so sehr, bin aber froh, dass ich für die 1,27€ nicht schon nach 5 Minuten fertig war. Leider musste ich mir selbst eingestehen, dass ich womöglich auch 3€ für einen Teil 4 bezahlen würde. Verflucht sei dieses Spiel!!!!

I've loved this sweet series so much and look forward to hopefully seeing more from this developer. That being said, at 47% complete of the last chapter of the 3rd episode...there is a slider puzzle that can't be skipped. I'm sure there's a walkthrough I could watch and pause and slide over and over again, but I die with slider puzzles. With my brain, it's like saying, "Here's a Rubik's Cube. Solve it and you may proceed." I cannot solve it and will not proceed. Apart from that the series has been LOVELY. I also agree with a review where someone suggested the hints be hints first...just hints...then an option to solve or skip.
