Simple, efficient, fast-paced, great gameplay feel, 20 minutes of unique gameplay every day. I recommend it to any old-school shooter enthusiast! Congratulations to Agar for releasing this first game and thank you for the daily fun :)

Qui n a jamais joue a un vrai FPS n'est pas un vrai joueur PC. Pour moi un des plus "grand" est et restera la saga des Wolf3d et consort. Ok c'est vieux et bien loin des poncifs actuels. Mais OSEF !!!! Des angles droits et un alien qui OS derriere. En fait c'est du dark souls sado en FPS. Et c'est tellement bien fait . Respect Mr Sebum ! Et merci :)

ToAT is a great, fun, and enticing game. If you're into the original Doom and Wolfenstein 3D games, you'll enjoy this homage to old school FPSes with a twist that constantly makes you come back for more. Discovering the set of weapons, enemies, objectives, and environments of the day keeps things fresh. It also keeps you on your toes! The procedurally-generated levels bring a surprising amount of variety to the game. The cutthroat situations you'll find yourself in will force you to make quick decisions between, for example, getting to the end of the level faster to get the bonus (but it didn't work out because you got lost in the maze!), killing one more enemy for the points (but you ended up losing a life to that unexpected stronger enemy behind it), or grabbing another health potion to have a better start for the next level (and discovered that the next level had one right at the beginning anyway). It's a pleasure to come back to The Tome of All Tales every day whether you launch it to play a quick game for a nice distraction or want to spend hours optimizing your run to end up at the top of the leaderboard.
