Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
About
The island is alive! Your newfound home will change with day/night cycles as you explore and uncover its secrets. Hunt (or be hunted by!) animals for food and an array of mythical enemies, who aren’t necessarily pleased to see you. Get quests from a Mysterious Stranger or find them washed up on the shore. Prepare to trek into a procedurally generated wilderness, with a variety of biomes, for an adventure that’s unique to every player.
Finding the perils of island life too much or just looking to share your building expertise with friends? The Survivalists has you covered! Complete joint adventures, gain loot, trade and ultimately survive together and as you and up to three fellow castaways explore fantastical islands.
If you’re in need of a builder, a lumberjack or even a soldier, the monkeys on the island can be tamed and trained to help you with everyday tasks or back you up on raids to a fanatic camp! The Mimic System means a wide variety of functions can be performed by your cheeky new friends, with monkey management becoming key to surviving the island’s challenges.
The secret to survival is to make the most of the resources around you. Whether that’s piecing together a primitive axe to chop wood or mixing up a refreshing fruit smoothie to keep the hunger at bay, you can discover recipes and expand your options across food, item or structure crafting trees.
Looking for an epic sword to hang on your hut wall or want to lay waste to encroaching hostiles? What you seek could be in one of the many temples scattered around the island. However, getting your hands on the loot won’t be easy so any would-be raiders will need to prepare for their treasure hunting escapades.

This game way too buggy even on Multiplayer. I cannot recommend this game at all and I doubt that the devs would do ANYTHING at all to fix the bugs. Game came out 5 years ago and just damn.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 19: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Aug 10 → 0.57/day in the week after.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Save file got corrupted and lost all progress. Apparently this is a very common issue and sometimes happens every 2 days. This happened to me on the second day of playing. I assume the devs have also abandoned it. Do not buy.
It's an okay game but the Private/Public option in hosting does not work. Anyone can join your game and steal stuff from your base. You can set permissions, but the default is to allow everything, and you can't change it unless somebody joined. By the time you set these permissions or kick the player, they'd have stolen a lot from you already. Apparently it has been a problem for a long time but obviously no fix has been made. If you plan to play solo then it's not an issue.
The Survivalists is a captivating blend of survival, crafting, and exploration set within a vibrant, procedurally generated world teeming with challenges and opportunities. Developed by Team17 in collaboration with the creators of The Escapists series, the game builds upon familiar survival tropes but introduces a charming and lighthearted aesthetic that sets it apart from many of its more serious counterparts. It invites players to carve out their own path on mysterious islands, gathering resources, building shelters, and fending off hostile creatures—all while managing hunger, health, and stamina in a dynamic and unpredictable environment. At its core, The Survivalists offers a well-rounded survival experience that is both accessible to newcomers and rewarding for veteran players. The game’s mechanics revolve around exploration and resource management, where players must forage for food, gather materials, and craft tools essential for survival. The crafting system is intuitive yet deep, allowing for a wide range of creations from simple weapons to complex structures. The procedurally generated islands ensure that no two playthroughs are the same, with varied terrain, wildlife, and secrets encouraging constant adaptation and curiosity. Players can explore caves, traverse dense forests, and discover ancient ruins, making the world feel alive and full of potential. One of the game’s standout features is its approach to companions: the monkeys. These mischievous primates can be trained to assist in gathering resources, building, fighting, and even farming. This mechanic adds a unique strategic layer to the gameplay, as managing and evolving your monkey troop becomes as crucial as managing your own character’s survival. Training monkeys to perform specific tasks alleviates much of the repetitive labor, allowing players to focus more on exploration and combat. The relationship between player and primates is surprisingly engaging, injecting humor and personality into the survival formula. Combat in The Survivalists is straightforward but effective, combining melee and ranged options to deal with a variety of hostile creatures, from aggressive wildlife to raiding skeletons. The game balances danger with approachability; while threats can be intimidating, the colorful and stylized art style softens the tension, creating a welcoming atmosphere rather than a relentless trial. Players can craft weapons, traps, and armor to bolster their defenses, and the tactical use of the environment often becomes key to survival. The progression through combat challenges is gradual, giving players a chance to improve their gear and skills before facing tougher enemies and bosses. The cooperative multiplayer mode is another highlight, transforming The Survivalists into a social adventure where teamwork is rewarded. Up to four players can join forces online or locally, sharing resources, building communal bases, and coordinating strategies to overcome the island’s many hazards. Multiplayer sessions bring an added layer of fun and chaos, as players divide tasks or compete in resource gathering. The game’s design ensures that cooperation is meaningful but not mandatory, so solo players can enjoy the full experience without feeling left out. Visually, The Survivalists opts for a charming low-poly aesthetic with bright colors and whimsical animations. This stylistic choice reinforces the game’s lighthearted tone and accessibility, making it appealing to a broad audience including younger players or those who prefer a less gritty survival game. The interface is clean and user-friendly, with clear menus and intuitive crafting trees that streamline the gameplay flow. Sound design complements the visuals well, featuring cheerful tunes and ambient sounds that enhance immersion without overwhelming the player. While The Survivalists excels in many aspects, there are a few areas where it could improve. Some players may find the pacing a bit slow, particularly in the early stages when resource scarcity forces cautious progress. The procedural generation, while a strength in keeping exploration fresh, occasionally produces less interesting or repetitive terrain that can diminish the sense of discovery. Additionally, although the monkey AI adds charm, it sometimes behaves unpredictably or inefficiently, requiring micromanagement that can detract from the overall experience. Finally, occasional technical hiccups in multiplayer connectivity and minor bugs have been reported, though these are generally outweighed by the game’s positive attributes. In summary, The Survivalists is a delightful and well-crafted survival game that offers a unique twist through its monkey companions and cooperative gameplay. Its combination of exploration, crafting, combat, and base-building is executed with care and charm, resulting in a game that is engaging, replayable, and accessible. Whether you prefer to brave the islands alone or with friends, the game provides ample content and freedom to create your own survival story. For fans of survival games looking for a more lighthearted and cooperative experience, The Survivalists stands out as a compelling and enjoyable choice. Rating: 7/10
It is SO sad this game wasn't better, but between bugs and messy UI, pretty bad amounts of grinding, and underbaked systems for both survival and combat - this game is a pretty big let down. THAT BEING SAID - It's actually pretty fun if you treat it more like a version of Factorio that was killed in the womb, when you get into the monkey transports it is a little fun, especially with home decorating. AT MOST buy this on sale, but I can say it is, while not always, still pretty fun. (Getting a mass army of monkeys and tearing through bosses was also pretty enjoyable)
The Survivalists — Sobrevivência. — Rpg — Mundo aberto. — Sandbox; — Cooperativo / Online. — Criação de itens, equipamentos, etc. — Monkey's. — Conquistas Steam.
