[b]the story of barker[/b] is your typical mobile point & click/escape room thing, offering a similarly typical subpar pc port. you're a guy on a boat with memory loss, gotta figure out what's going on. there are [b]10 locations[/b], they can be rotated for a better view and there's an inventory. items can be examined, rotation is clunky. [b]the hint system is pretty bad.[/b] clicking the light bulb doesn't only offer one hint, but all of them for the current puzzle, and the problem is, they can't be dismissed until you click through all of them, maybe with eyes closed in order not to spoil too much. [b]some busywork puzzles can be skipped[/b], which is great (towers of hanoi, sliding, lights out, etc.). text display is instant and tapping is not mentioned, but [b]no interactive cursor[/b], gotta click everything in case it's a hotspot. [b]right click doesn't zoom out[/b] or close windows because [b]both mouse buttons do the same[/b], doesn't matter which one you click things with. surprisingly, arrows and wasd also work for rotation and zooming out. while I'm all for hotkeys, this kinda game should be conveniently and effortlessly playable with only the mouse, don't make me drag it around the screen to click an arrow or 'x'. only separate toggles for audio, no volumes, and [b]no full screen option[/b]. the window can be expanded to full screen, that's it. there are a few languages, the awkward writing/translation is whatever, but punctuation doesn't exist, welcome to lazytown. oh yeah, [b]no exit button either[/b], what was I thinking? closing the window obviously works, but it should run in full screen in the first place. progress is lazily stored in the registry. the final section isn't great. not only are the 'puzzles' trial & error, but I apparently missed a note in the penultimate location but couldn't go back because that idiot put the crates on top of the hatch. plenty of room, why block access to the other room like this? it takes an hour or two and were it done better, it would be sort of okay on sale, but right now [b]it's too basic to recommend[/b].

Возвращаю. Игра от украинского разработчика: про злых русских, которые хотят подло взорвать грязную атомную бомбу у берегов Америки. Ну-ну.
Приветствую, уважаемые Геймеры! На самом деле, я пока не допрошёл игру до конца, но могу точно сказать, что игра достойная, интересная и увлекательная. Некоторые головоломки могут изрядно поломать вам голову, а некоторые вы сможете решить даже не задумываясь. Так же в игре присутствуют как классические головоломки типа пятнашек или ханойской башни(Модифицированной), так и головоломки на внимательность, память или банальную удачу. Если и после этого всего вы сомневаетесь стоит ли брать игру или нет, то предлагаю вам ознакомиться с первыми 40 минут игрой у меня на YouTube-канале(Оставлю в конце обзора) и окончательно для себя решить брать или нет, но осторожно там могут быть спойлеры! If you like puzzle games, this is the game for you to try. Great graphics and I like how the game makes you tune around all the angles for such puzzles.
История интересная. Графика примитивная, но для подачи сюжета пойдет. Сама стилистика игры хорошая. Иногда были сложности, но в основном головоломки логичные. При желании их вообще можно пропустить. В техническом плане даже выхода нет), но разработчики наверное это исправят. Игра проходиться за 2 часа. Развязка реально неожиданная :D
I believe this is your first game, so congratulations!! It's an achievement to release your game in a platform like Steam. I like the story. The ballad of Barker starts with pretty good build up and give a nice twist at the end. Even though I wonder if the ship is sunk or still float, just because of the seagull is still there. :D The puzzle, some of them I like it. They are standard puzzles, not that straight-forward, and the given clue is clear. But some of them, are painful. I don't know if I didn't find the clue of the final two puzzle so I did brute force method for both of them (I hope that I'm just that careless to find the clue). [b]Don't open this spoiler if you haven't played the game:[/b] [spoiler]When I saw Tower of Hanoi is in the game (and it's unskippable), I just want to quit the game right away because I know how many steps that it takes to build.[/spoiler] Overall, it's a nice game and the price is reasonable (it's very eye-catching too). I hope I can see your other game in the future.

A puzzle game in the escape-room genre, similar to Tiny Room Stories series, only much shorter - it took around 2 hours to play through. One of the puzzles featured in the game is a sliding puzzle. There are also two puzzles which can only be solved by pure trial-and-error. All of the puzzles can be skipped except for the environmental ones, but hints are provided for those. The bomb and radioactive cylinders are not really used in any way except for context. Not sure why they are featured in the screenshots.
Juego entretenido en el que tienes que resolver puzzles. Es bastante corto, así que merece la pena a buen precio.
Гра мені сподобалася. Пазли не дуже складні, їх можна вирішити, а якщо застряг на якомусь, то можна просто його пропустити. Сюжет цікавий, не затягнутий та файна кінцівка
