The Space Between

Игра просто ни о чем. Претенциозность идеи и абсолютно нулевая реализация, хотя бы потому что в диалогах непонятно кто говорит, а от этого страдает смысл. Излишняя затянутость: медленная ходьба, медленные диалоги без возможности перемотать реплику, когда прочитал. А ты будешь читать эти реплики быстро, если закончил детский сад, и по итогу сидеть и смотреть на клавиатуру или стену в ожидании новой фразы. Про графику ничего говорить не буду, это вкусовщина. Еще игра вылетела между 1 и 2 актом и пришлось проходить всё заново :/ Но то, что меня добило окончательно это дебильная ачивка, где надо 10 часов сидеть в игре за 1 прохождение (хотя само прохождение занимает 40 мин-1час). ЗАЧЕМ? Если говорить, например, про возвраты, достаточно 2 часа. Игра ничего не может предложить делать в эти злосчастные 10 часов. Просто издевательство.

Really interesting game! Loved it

Slow paced philosophical walking sim about an architect. Has brutalist architecture and liminal spaces.

A slow and compelling game. It took less than an hour to complete but it is a story worth lingering in.

A somber and atmospheric meditation on loneliness and the walls we build, both real and imagined. Features a great soundtrack and can be finished in an hour.

I like the idea of this game and the lack of distinction of speakers during text conversation created an interesting kind of confusion that led to thinking more about the meaning of the dialogue. There were times when the movement was tiringly slow and boring, but it didn't ruin the experience. Unfortunately, the incredibly slow pacing of the text did kill the experience for me. That's really all that hampered it, but it felt incredibly grating to be forced to wait so long, especially when the text might be as short as, "yes". Add a button to skip the wait between text and I would recommend this game.

The story itself is an interesting idea, I would argue. However, the execution is hindered by a somewhat clunky script and graceless pacing. What ultimately saves the experience is the last act. However, I am not confident that this alone makes up for the shortcomings of the other parts. Use Cheat Engine's speedhack to give the game an acceptable text speed and thank me later, because dialogue advances at an unbearably slow rate.
