About
The Sinking City 2 is a third-person survival horror set in 1920s Arkham. Deliberate, tense, and resource-lean: pressure builds as you push deeper, relief comes in brief refuge, and fear is something you manage. Mind your inventory, take on unnerving puzzles, and double back via unlocked shortcuts for supplies and upgrades.
A Roaring ’20s port city buckling under a supernatural flood. Tide-stained avenues and battered Art Deco. Speakeasies gone dark. Districts feel lived-in and water-worn, with routes by foot and skiff, shortcuts behind collapsed seawalls, and secrets tucked in boarded parlors. You’ll navigate a hospital where science hides its face, a fish market where the merchandise bites back, and descend deep below the city to where eldritch horrors stir.
A ritual gone wrong trapped her soul in the Dreamlands, and now malevolent forces have stolen her body. To rescue the woman you love, you must walk a dangerous path through catastrophe to the source of the flood — her presence always felt, but rarely seen.
The Slither animate the dead. Deep Ones surge from dark water. Shadows bend space and test nerves. Some fights must be met head-on; others demand a retreat to rearm, retune your build, and return better prepared. Or take on an optional investigation and come back with an upgraded gun.
Exploration is the key to survival. Read ritual residues, sift through grisly clues, decode journals that shouldn’t exist, and pry at masks that won’t come off. Optional cases never gate progress — but they unlock safer routes, hard supplies, and upgrades that change how you endure the next encounter.
The Sinking City 2 draws on Frogwares’ detective roots to deliver survival horror that runs deep and hits hard. Shaped by studio obsession and community feedback, it’s a faithful Lovecraft experience: myths made manifest, and the inconceivable fear that results.

Woke.

The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

peak!!
This game is the collective best of all Frogwares' games. It was an absolute pleasure to complete the main story and DLC. +Graphics are stunning, amazing Lovecraftian atmosphere +Level design is very good, levels are nicely planned, without stupid dead-end at the end of long route, easy to remember, interactive and filled with puzzles and collectibles +Music is wonderful! In each situation it always accompanies the situation and deepens us into the scene. +Cutscenes are definitely the strong part of this game. It feels like you watch a good directed movie. +Very interesting and catching story of the game. It makes us worry, makes us empathize to hero and makes us wonder whats next. Very extraordinary story with good written dialogues and emotions. +VFX is the best among all Frog games. This is the peak of visual effects, they are all around the game, they are executed very beautifuly and game basically stands on visual effects. Briilliant work +Combat. Unexpectedly, yes, it is in a postive section. They changed it so much since all previous games and even comparing to TSC2 Demo. It plays not always smooth but it totally fits my playstyle. Arenas are planned very good and with respect to architecture. Very nicely planned combat sessions. The amout of monsters, the amount of heals, the amount of bullets - everything is counted so perfectly. Yes, sometimes there's a scarce, but you can always go melee. Which is another positive side. You can just stomp em' in a nuts, without spending bullets :) +Puzzles. Finally puzzles have returned. First time since Devil's Daughter. Very nice high quality puzzles, not necessary to do, but rewarding. +Investigation. It was revisioned and it became better and more interesting, Now I really feel like detective that needs to read clues and realize what is the safe code. Good direction! -Game was too short. If only there were few more levels -Game doesn't warn you that if you "enter that door", you reach point of no return and won't be able to return and finish side investigations in that level. -Not able to change outfit midgame, only in main menu. -In the first chapter you can encounter and can kill infected people twice before the first shooting tutorial.
There’s genuinely a lot to love. The atmosphere is os really dark and a lot happens that you only hear, which sparks your imagination in all the right ways, the levels design made it fun to explose, and the story pulls you along with enough mystery to keep you invested. When the game leans into its worldbuilding, it really shines. The gameplay is competent and be fun at times, especially when exploration and puzzle‑solving take center stage. On higher difficulties, though, the combat shows its rough edges. The stagger mechanics and heavy camera shakes can get brutal, sometimes crossing the line from tense to frustrating. It’s not game‑breaking, but it’s noticeable. I'm sure some virtuoso can make it work, for me it was to frustrating The game borrows quite a bit from Resident Evil 2 — and honestly, that’s mostly a good thing. The tighter encounters, the environmental storytelling, and the pacing all benefit. The puzzles are another strong point A standout moment is the hospital level, which is easily one of the game’s highlights. It nails the tone, the tension, and the sense of dread better than most other sections. I'm looking forward to another lovecraftian horror game from them that improves in all areas
Runs great. Interesting environments. Great ambience. Puzzles are fun. It has more adventure elements, which I like.
I'm going to finish the game, but with 2.5 hours in there are too many enemies despite killing them with 2-3 shots a piece....am I suppose to do something else other than kill them? I've tried running past them like in Resident Evil but that makes backtracking and investigating in general even more dangerous! I thoroughly enjoy the investigation parts, even though some clues aren't always handed to you it feels just right.
this is somewhere in between resident evil 2 remake and silent hill 2 remake the way it plays.... its a fantastic survival horror game with only a few flaws....it is nothing like sinking city 1 but it is a very good game. I found this game better than RE9 because as good as the Grace segments were, the leon segments heavily dragged that game down. my only real complaint is the use of Cabin style combat situations, where your stuck in a room and have to fight waves of enemies....theres only really 3 of these but they feel really out of place with the rest of the game
