I used to play this when i was younger on a phone and igot stuck at the 2nd chapter or it costed money to continue but now I can finally play it and complet it after completing it there were some things you could guess example at the end chapter (ten before coming back) I wont spoil it for anyone who sees this and hasnt completed it but its really good would play again
The Silent Age is one of the best indie point and clicks out there and it doesn’t even try that hard to prove it. No bloated nonsense, no 200 IQ puzzles to stroke your ego, just clean design, a time travel gimmick that actually works, and an atmosphere so quiet and lonely it feels like the world forgot you exist. Story sneaks up on you and suddenly you’re invested without realizing when it happened. And then it just ends. Like “alright, get out.” Leaves you there wanting more like a scam… but a good one. Doesn’t matter though, it hits way harder than most games twice its size. 9.5/10, short but hits like a truck
A história é o grande destaque aqui.
Started this expecting to push a vacuum for a bit. Nope. Turns out saving the world requires more brainpower than a Friday night on Call of Duty. Surprisingly engaging for a game where you mostly just... look at stuff.
That was really good. Solid point and clicking. A mood contrast between foreboding and desolate. Being a simple but pretty nifty janitor, while grand events circle around, taunting you for simply doing what you can. I don't know, I thought it was good. I was really impressed by how many and interesting responses there were for attempting to use objects, like certain logic was anticipated, and yet it made a lot of sense, I found that enjoyable (I wouldn't go around compulsively trying things just to see what the game says, I'm just saying there was a lot of thought put into the interactions). The music set the atmosphere perfectly, it did the job well and I felt immersed.
Replayed it tons of times. It feels like an immersive novel with no need to worry about losing, just puzzle solving amongst the cool vibes of the enigmatic and mysterious tunes. This is a quality game and I wish there were more games just like it.
Straightforward point and click game, nice mood. You can turn off voice acting, but there are not any other options that I found. I would have loved a button to run instead of constantly double clicking. I finished in under 3.5 hours with 100% achievements. It's easy to go back and replay levels if you miss anything, and there aren't any fail states which was nice. Ran perfectly on Bazzite Linux.
A solid example of well-executed indie game. I remember playing it on my tablet while traveling on a train, I think I played through in one go during that trip (the internet was partly off, hence the playtime). There was literally nothing that felt wrong. A great, bite-sized story with decently executed time travel mechanic. One phrase stuck with me for all those years, I think it was something like, "Yes, it was all a lie... Except my friendship. That was genuine."
