Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Terrible optimization, inconsistent performance, FPS dips, very nauseating, cannot play longer than 10 minutes. I was looking forward to see this in VR, but the visuals are worse than on flatscreen and the performance and controls are awful. Do not buy it, save your money, screenshots are not worth it, unfortunatelly :-(
Even on two different PCs, I get to the menu and it will not let me actually start the game. Nothing is interactive for me on the menu. Maybe it just doesn't like Valve Index? I have no idea. I just know that I can't give it a review other than it wasn't worth it. The only reason I didn't refund is I thought it might work when I built my new PC. Had I known nothing would change, this game would've been refunded immediately.

The Shore is a good game. The Shore as a VR title, is less so. I ran into several bugs throughout the experience that really made it a struggle to play.
the system requriment listed are wrong i have a laptop that sould theoraticly be able to run it but it runs terrably. the requriments are the same as whats listed for the faltscrean version so i think they just copied it.
Won't start. Never been able test it. Complete re-install did not help. Crashes before I can start playing. I have HP G2 headset.
H. P. Lovecraft In VR - The Shore VR The Shore VR is an amazing Lovecraftian VR adventure. This will hit the the wants of sci-fi, horror, mythology and H.P Lovecraft fans. You will be immersed into a beautiful looking and sounding world to explore. With something surprising around every corner. The world not only looks amazing, but you can interact with pretty much every object you come across, adding to the immersion of the world. The game take place on a mysterious island you have ship wrecked on. Its an open world island with lots to explore. You will find lots of clues and have to solve puzzles to survive and find you way off of the island. The game does not hold your hand, and leaves you to find things at your own pace and order. There is lots to read in this game and see to try and put the stories of others that have been on the island together, and figure out what is going on. The game made me feel like I was in an episode of Lost, with so much mystery on the island. I felt like I was part of the story, not just playing it. I don't know why this game has so many negative reviews. It plays fine, has a super rich story, amazing immersive world to slip away into and is priced right. This is a story I feel that could only be experienced in VR. It is well executed in VR and everything draws you into its mysterious world, leaving you wanting to get deeper into it. You will see sights that would drop the jaw of India Jones. If you love sci-fi, horror, Lovecraftian, this is a must experience VR title. I think the negative reviews were looking for a more action pack fast paced game. This is a slow, explore and learn game with a very drawing story. Its like a living book. Don't pass this title up. Great Graphics and Sound Design Horrible VR movement, combat and interface Fighting in this game is completely unresponsive and horrible which is even more of a letdown since the whole buildup to the unimaginable horrors and monsters leads to you stabbing a semi- cool looking monster in the face and it exploding into blood and nothingness? How the ♥♥♥♥ did the fishermen have a hard time surviving if all it took was an old man with a spear to wipe out 50 of those things. Also grabbing stuff is glitchy as hell and sometimes stuff falls through the floor which takes me out of the game and stuff doesnt stay where you put it it teleports back to its original space after a few seconds of not having it in your hand. Please if you make another game or update this one, get soembody on the team that can make a fun combat system and implement LESS enemies but very strong enemies to encourage stepping away from fights or even not fighting at all but don´t make a monster that is 3 stories tall run away from some old ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with a sharpened stick because he killed 4 of its babies.
Impressions of the game are mixed. On the one hand, there's simply no other Lovecraftian VR game with such a superbly designed graphic and gameplay experience; the desire to complete it is overwhelming. On the other hand, it's incredibly annoying to the core with its glitches – it seems the developer did everything to make the game impossible to complete (or rather, didn't do anything to make it possible). Jumping and especially crouching are sorely lacking – picking up objects from the floor (like lore notes) is impossible. Although I use third-party software to add this feature, it adds its own set of glitches to the gameplay. A seated mode is, of course, out of the options – you have to constantly run around as a dwarf with the camera at waist level. Oddly enough, this doesn't make it any easier for the player to pick up objects from the floor (but it does prevent them from picking up items that are high up – at potential head level for a standing player) - a fantastic combination of opposing flaws. The joystick deadzone calibration is also (not) implemented in a terrible way - the character is constantly running forward, which forcing the player to constantly pull back with the joystick. The scale of everyday objects and the environment in the lighthouse is as if it were made for a child - everything is gigantic, twice the size of normal objects. Picking up items is implemented in a completely hellish infuriating way—some items must be held down with a button or they'll fall out, others are automatically held in your hands when pressed, but can be released by pressing the button again, and still others simply stick to your hands, making it impossible to remove them with any button combination. Yes, damn diary, I'm talking about you - it's impossible to even place pickup sheets in it (and they can only be picked up with the same hand) or read them, because the diary cover obscures the text of the page you're holding, and you can't read pages already placed in the diary due to their microscopic size (yes, placing pages in the diary is also implemented based on the phases of the moon and the changing miasmas of Cthulhu's witchcraft). On the table, it's also a mystery how to pick up certain items without pressing the buttons of others (this changes the hand's interactivity format—either you press or you pick up) - you simply have to continuously click the grab button until it works. The left hand would sometimes disappear altogether (which added to the interactivity when reading the note about the severed hand) - you had to completely restart the game. Saving items is implemented like in other VR games - you need to place them over your shoulder - but retrieving them from oblivion is impossible - no any button or combination of buttons allows you to pull the backpack from your shoulder or open the inventory wheel. And so on, and so forth. If for the game made proper controls (if the developer was interested, which is clearly not the case given its age), it would have been magnificent. As it is, it's simply a dead child that could have potentially become a genius. A perfect example of how NOT to technically implement a good idea. I bought the game - donating to the developer for the good idea and the opportunity to simply run around a beautiful Lovecraftian island, in view of the hellish implemented interactivity - but it's lying down on my account like dead weight due to the aforementioned impossibility of completing it. But art, I believe, is created by an artist not simply to be sold and thrown into a dusty attic, but to give viewers an opportunity regularly to admire and empathize with their creation.
I still enjoyed the ambience and atmosphere of the game. But I think the game is not finished because after I placed the pyramid and the four artefacts in the void I get the last message "Wait for my call" after that there is nothing left to do. I recommend the game but we should wait for the developer to tell us what's going on with the end.
