Beautiful art and some challenging puzzles. This game is not for all people, just for those that enjoy point and click adventures, puzzle games and "indie" art. PROS: ✅ Calm game to let you think. ✅ Nice art work. ✅ Surrealist universe. CONS: ❌ Good music, but sometimes it is too repetitive. I miss an option to mute inside the game. ❌ Music puzzles are hard for normal people. If you are not musician, it is difficult to identify the sounds. Hopefully, try and error works well without taking a long time. ❌ The puzzles are linear, so, if you are stuck, you cannot try other puzzles.

Great graphics, nice soundtrack. Neither of these equates to a solid gaming experience. This is one of those 'logic' games where the logic -- to say nothing of the story -- is completely incomprehensible. Add to that Alice's drag-assing across the room, again and again as you try desperately to come up with something new to do to figure out the inscrutable puzzles. I didn't see a way to beat this without just following a walkthrough every step of the way. I wish Chuck Palahniuk's primary demand that a writer not waste the reader's time extended to video games as well. This was tedious.
I really liked the art style and the song choices, there worked perfectly together. I liked the puzzles, but the game was a bit short for me. I completed it in 3 hours. I will play this again to collect all achievements tho, 7/10.
A couple of puzzles, nice music and artistic visuals. Simple and yet charming. Animations could be faster and the final puzzle was awful. Other than that - recommended.

There is a lot of interesting atmosphere and the music is good but some of the animations are soooo sloooow. Between that and some of the puzzles being really confusing (unless you backtrack all the way back to the beginning for a hint) I cannot recommend this game.
The music and art were beautiful, but they just don't make up for the frustrating puzzles and lack of story. Also I had to put it on mute during certain puzzles because if I heard Alice go "uh-uh! uh-uh!" one more time, I was going to throw my computer across the room.
The Rivers of Alice is a nice point'n'click game. It has a great hand painted design and oozes personality. Also has a nice soundtrack. The puzzles aren't very difficult once you figure out what are you trying to solve, since the game only gives you hints with pictograms. It is a short, beatiful and relaxing game. Give it a chance if you like point'n'click games.
