The Risers

Playing this has the same effect as drinking bleach while you shove pencils into your eyes. Loved every second of this untextured (but also slightly textured?) mess. Buy this if you want to know what nightmares Satan has.

the characteres are not balanced at all, everything is glitchy and broken, the camera has a seizure every 2 seconds, the final boss can randomly do nothing or constantly hit you with unavoidable attacks, and there is basically no strategy - it is total unfair buttonmashing. but this is good. game has some of the most real 80s B movie horror atmosphere ever. like you would find this in a cheap half-working broken arcade. it is dirty and cheap-feeling and low-priced and this adds to the experience. the characters are like classic horror villains but from some alternative history. the best part are the weird ending cutscenes for each character - they show the s trange world of this game more and some of them feel like "cursed" videos. very nice

this game has better arcade endings than current fighting games, and im not even joking. also i am the best The Risers player in the world (currently)

worth it for the endings alone

I tried out with an xbox one controller. It's a fighting game so... why not. Controls are a complete mess. Y axis inverted, Headache menus. And the game is trash.

Este juego es un esfuerzo.... malo para el standard de hoy, pero no es como un rpgmaker que se tira a la olla con cuanta cosa encuentres por ahi y le pones play... Detras de los graficos virtualmente indistinguibles del fondo y la mecanica frenetica de apretar botones, hay un esfuerzo que se nota por realizar un juego completo, muy al bruto, pero completo. no es algo que pueda recomendar, pero si esto hubiese salido antes de mortal kombat, seria increible >:D
