Three enjoyable escape rooms (at least so far, more are apparently on the way). Room 2 and room 3 are slightly more enjoyable than the first (which can be a bit frustrating in that early clues can easily be misunderstood or missed entirely), but all in all a very nice experience, especially with some interesting mechanics that wouldn't be possible in non-virtual escape rooms.
This game was freaking awesome if you like puzzle games ... Though it only took me 2.1 hours (as per steam) to complete the first 3 levels it was totally worth the $10 I spent on it. To the developers I hope you come out with a ton more new levels that only get exceedingly harder...I would even be willing to pay for DLC's / expansion packs if that is any encouragement to make the new levels.
I loved doing some other VR rooms and was feeling cocky, knocking one out after another, than I found The Puzzle Room VR! Wow are these rooms hard! I need to get some new eyes in here to help me out haha I appreciate how difficult the puzzles are theyre great!
Brilliant game. Room 3 is a bit tricky (as in you give up and look for solutions) but overall the best VR escape room game in my opinion. Closely followed by The Cabin.
Good escape room game. Has two rooms at the moment, but more appear to be planned.
Do not buy, abandoned by developer with broken achievements. Games abandoned by developers usually get refunded by users. You didn't finish the game so why should we even try to?
Honestly, I really liked the idea and concept of this game but, what really annoys me is that the game isn't really rendered toward your room scale expectations to your play area. And some things I can't even get to because of that, for example, Job Simulator actually adjusts itself to your play area so you don't have to worry about going out your boundries you have made when your first got VR. Now, I'm not saying this isn't a great game, it is! I really like puzzle rooms in VR, and this is one of them. I suggest you try to make that fix if you want people to try your game. But, this game isn't really worth $12.99 for the state it is in right now. I reccomend that you wait till there is a sale, and try to go from there. In conclusion, great concept, needs fixing.
The game is unintuitive to start with, it just drops you in a room with no explanation. I didn't even realise I could move until testing random buttons. To start the game, they put a big Start button behind you, in a VR game. Who thought that was a clever idea? Once pressed, you then get a console that appears that you need to pull a lever on, choose a level by using the slider and then put a helmet on to start it. This is all without any explanation nor guide. I get it's supposed to be a puzzle experience, but making it so obtuse to even get into the first puzzle room is just odd. There also appears to be no motion sickness reductions, so prepare to feel sick after playing.
Fun! Not too hard. There are actually 3 escape rooms and a level selector room. No rotation, but there is teleportation.
