Название игры отображает всю её суть. Это политический симулятор, где вы берёте на себя роль только что состоявшегося президента, которому предстоит делать выбор и принимать трудные решения, имея дело с самыми разными людьми, при этом наживая врагов и приобретая союзников. И вот всё бы ничего, игра имеет место быть. Но она представляет собой набор текста, цифр и гистограмм на белом полотне. Оформление игры и навигация очень лениво выполнены. А в перепитиях политического кулуара вам предстоит разбираться самому, так как нет никакого введения или обучения. Трудновато, а ещё и русского языка нет. В общем, игра выглядит как ленивая поделка, которую состряпали на отвались и вывалили в стим, прося при этом прося непозволительную цену за продукт с таким низким качеством.

Will they bring prosperity to an ailing economy, will they to go to war, will they reduce military presence, will they bring better health care and schooling, or will they make cut backs? Have you ever thought, I could run the country better? Well here's your chance to prove it in this political strategy game. You play as Tom Reed, a rising star who reached the top of the Democratic Party, now the youngest President of the Republic of Dora. As a small country of around 12 million people, how hard can it really be if Donald Trump is President of the US of A? You start by choosing the ministers for Labour, Environment, Defense, Justice etc. From there you'll be able to choose which policies you would like to put forward for legislation. This takes a month or two and not all policies can be selected due to either time restrictions or lack of funds in the treasury. Each policy will show you whether you’re able to put it forward for voting, and above each policy page you'll see the different parties and the number of members they have in each. Once you select a policy, you'll be able to see if any of the parties will vote. Not all members will; if it doesn’t favour their own party, they will not consider it worthwhile. They may, however, change their stance later. So, choosing which policy to put through isn't easy, as you can only propose one per month, and the top dogs may not even vote, or may vote against you in legislating a bill. After about six months you'll get the dreaded vote of confidence by all parties, who'll vote on whether you're fit for office. So, getting bills passed that please each party is a must, otherwise you're on the rock 'n' roll and its game over! I'm not a very political person, so I found it a little bit hard to know what to do, especially as there is no tutorial. I'd been playing it for a while before I even found the objectives and how the game worked. This still didn't make it any easier in getting further into the game and onto the second vote of confidence at around 18 months. I know there's more to this game after this point, such as election campaigns, campaign contributors and more. As of now you can only play as a Democrat, but I think the developers have plans to play as different parties in the future. There's not much in the way of options; you can turn the music on and off, you can select the chat to display word by word or all at once, but you can’t play the game on full screen. That's it, plain and simple. At first, I found the game very frustrating to play. The game crashed after about 3 years; I didn’t manually save the game, so save regularly unless you want to lose any progress. After sticking with it for a while it was still frustrating, but it began to grow on me. If you’re into politics, you may find this game less frustrating and more compelling. An incredible Idea just needs some improvement,right now you can consider it EA,don't hate on it,us political gamers need a dev who has passion like we do heres some suggestions to the dev Have the text show up instantly instead of slowing coming out word for word, the passing law system is quite confusing i tried to pass under the defence minister prohibition of ships with migrants it was just a spinning circle,just need more explaining you should be able to pass whatever you want and just have to try to convince parties to vote for u, also longer term or shoter however long it takes u should add a sandbox type mode and editor were we create parties and characters,events,polls etc and add maps for election were we have to do region by region this can also be done after you add/change these this game will be amazing right now it is an amazing idea this game has the best election sim part they also have parliment sims if you could somewhat copy this for election part itd be amazing https://270soft.com/us-election-games/president-election-game-2016-infinity/ Also I believe you should lose to easily after 4 turns I lost,it should be more like real life,unless I commit a crime and being able to be impeached i shouldnt be kicked out,all presidents have time of unpopularity If we can get this stuff added in I believe this game can be great,right now it just needs some polish

It ends way to fast, you get impeached so fast you barely even started the game, then you cant even choose the policies you want for some reason nor can you whip the parliament or meet with the leaders. You just have to sit there and just wait and try to survive. This game is not fun at all.

The President is a strategy/career simulator as you control the President and make various decisions based on RNG events. The game is essentially text only with a few icons and the occasional bar graph. The reality here is that there's no real game, no real graphics, the whole thing could be done in HTML. It belongs in a web browser, not on Steam. The numbers and clicking through events are tedious and RNG rules the day regardless of what you do. It's a poorly thought out, poorly implemented, and poorly balanced game. The $11.50 price tag is an insult considering the low quality. I can't recommend it.

Gioco di base interessante ma che manca di molte cose. Necessaria una release, è difficilissimo tenere i conti in positivo, perché sono molti di più gli emendamenti che costano di quelli che portano denaro nelle casse dello stato, Le leggi da far passare sono vincolate, e non si possono proporre quelle che si vuole, il denaro per la stampa è limitato e non c'è modo di aumentarlo, per cui arrivati la momento di fare il rinnovo dell'addetto stampa il gioco si blocca, Non esiste tutorial che dia un aiuto per giocare, e a un anno il gioco è stato abbandonato senza aggiornamenti, mentre invece necessita di grandi migliorie. E' una vera fregatura, e adesso non posso essere rimborsato perché sono passate 2 ore di gioco. Soldi veramente buttati dalla finestra!

Premessa : Non è il mio genere Questo gioco manca di una cosa fondamentale, ovvero un tutorial che spieghi come muoversi, che spieghi le varie statistiche e molto altro. Mi dispiace dirlo perché sembrava interessante ma non sono riuscito a muovere un passo.
