Maybe my expectations were too high and still every critique I have about this is not going to make me leave a negative review, but I think it could have been so much better. First of all it's too damn short, especially considering you need two copies of the game to play it. Also the supposed 2 versions of the game are just the same puzzles but with different solutions, so it doesn't really feel replayable other than for the achievements, and even those are way too simple and generally subpar for this studio. I'm not going to be too harsh sice it's their first coop game, but I'm sure they could have come up with less repetitive and more interesting puzzles than these, since most of them feel like they were copy-pasted form one of the numerous other better co-op puzzle games out there, like "tick tock" or "keep talking and nobody explodes". Still the aesthetics and lore are some of the most interesting in the saga, departing from their usual style in a very interesting manner. I hope they continue with more explicit storytelling because while the whole animal lake/hotel/paradise thing was interesting, it never really went far enough to be engaging and felt complicated only because of the amount of characters and timelines. Still, lots of love to the Rusty Lake team <3

do i recommend? yes, yes, big yes! me and my partner play 2 player horror/puzzle games all of the time. we've seen some really good games and some not so great ones...THIS is a really good game! the graphics balance minimalism and beautiful design just enough to properly convey the happenings of the story without burning down your pc. my pc has bad specs, but was able to run this game fluently on high graphics, an experience i rarely get to relish in! i personally really adored the soundtrack. it was very atmospheric. the types of puzzles were familiar to us as frequent puzzle enjoyers, but just unique enough to still be engaging. the story is fascinating and there's a ton of replayability in achievement hunting + 2 different modes and different ways of playing. great game! :)
Really fun co-op puzzle game! My wife and I had a great time playing together, with me on PC and her on mobile. The two-player setup, where each person sees a different perspective, makes it feel like solving an escape room together and really encourages communication. I also appreciated that the puzzles felt more straightforward than in some other Rusty Lake games. There were still plenty of satisfying "aha!" moments without becoming overly frustrating, which made it especially enjoyable to play together. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and genuinely fun co-op experience!
