i liked this so much! thank you to the developer for making English available as one of the many language options. this is a locked room game like the "rusty lake" family, with a lot of the same hallmarks of horror. and i was surprised by how fun and different some of the puzzles were, really enjoyed this and recommend it!
Compared to the previous installment, this game features cleaner graphics and animations, as well as a variety of innovative puzzles that made playing it quite enjoyable. I was particularly fascinated by the mechanics of the puzzles in each room. And of course, the game’s length has significantly increased. The story also seems to continue from the previous one. Overall, it’s safe to say that this game has evolved considerably. 😊
Laboratory is the second of (currently) three Paradixion games, all of which I have played and enjoyed, particularly once I got used to their macabre graphical style & puzzle format (which also owe a great deal to those of the Rusty Lake and Forgotten Hill games). Laboratory, and its predecessor Son's Room, share a common story/lore; Christmas (the third game) seemed more standalone to me. There is little or no guidance in these games, and in all three I have got completely stuck at least once - but the restricted scale of the puzzle environments (in this case four discrete rooms plus a lobby area) minimised the frustration of working out what to do next, I felt. My play time for this game includes a second playthrough, principally to get an achievement which I had skipped previously.
