The Paradixion: Laboratory

The second installment in The Paradixion series of 2D hand-drawn escape-the-room puzzlers is, while a bit more challenging than the first (Son's Room), very enjoyable. Pleasant music accompanies an eerie atmosphere. Saving is available anytime. If stuck, the dev is very involved in answering any questions and providing hints to help you on your way. Though chock-full of varied puzzles, you'll find yourself wanting more. I suppose we'll have to wait....

The second game in the series. If you liked the first game, get this one as well. Well done game, all puzzles have the logic behind them, and the hardest puzzle has a skip, which was rather nice. Having multiple save files would be nice, though. Great sequel, do recommend.

2시간이 가는 줄 모르고 겜한듯 큐브 맞추는건 잘 못해서 어려웠는데 나머지는 재밌게 풀었음 이 겜 덕에 호러물 보고 싶다는 생각이 남

I do wish there was a middle choice because although I enjoyed some of this game, I also found the themes rather sickening - blood and actions that were not particularly pleasant towards animals and even a child. It is quite reminiscent of the Rusty Lake games which are also pretty weird but I don't remember them being quite so gory. So just a heads up in case you're wondering if it's okay for children. The idea is to access 4 rooms from an initial corridor, each room having 4 scenes (walls) and to use various means to find the key to escape. There are inventory items to collect and also some quite inventive puzzles. One in particular was pretty fiendish and the developer kindly added a skip button as quite a few players were struggling with it. The problem for me was that there wasn't much logic to the things you had to do - or perhaps it was more that many of the things you had to do had no obvious link with each other - so I ended up using a video walk-through quite a lot and I don't usually have to do that with this type of game. Of course, I can only speak for my own experience and other players I'm sure would have less trouble. The graphics are very basic and 2 dimensional but they suited the game very well. The music was repetitive but not unpleasant. You can hardly complain when the game is selling for such a low price as any game takes a great deal of time and effort to get published. I hope it does well and maybe the next one will be a little less gory.

25.7.13 有些地方明显看出借鉴锈湖，虽然这么说有种“万物起源论”的感觉，但是鹿头、猪吃粑粑变咖啡啥的真的很像！ 那个石墨调序的真的玩不了一点，看了攻略才拿到这个成就，自己试的话最好结果也是只差一个黑球才能拼齐。 总体还行，喜欢玩解密游戏的可以试一下。

난이도도 많이 어렵지않고 방탈출 게임 좋아한다면 잘 즐길 수 있는 게임입니다. 플레이 시간도 길지 않아 좋았어요!

After playing the demo I was not going to purchase due to the microscope puzzle. When I learned the developer added a skip option on that puzzle for the game I purchased and enjoyed it a lot. I have all there games now.
