The Paradixion: Exhibition

Surreal escape-room game with minimalistic design, abstract logic puzzles and clues you need to decipher, and a helpful in-game screenshot feature to avoid backtracking. This is my first game in the series, so I’m not sure how the entries are connected. There’s no introduction or background information; you simply start the game in a room. The visual style and gameplay, however, will feel familiar to fans of the surreal or psychological escape-the-room genre, where the story is usually left open to interpretation. The gameplay revolves around clicking on the screen with a mouse. Nothing is highlighted or marked, so you’re encouraged to click on anything that stands out. Because the art style is minimalistic, each location contains only essential elements and rarely includes distracting details that might pull your attention away from solving the puzzles. Although you begin in a single room, where you can click arrows on the left and right sides of the screen to look at all four walls, you’re not actually locked inside since the door is open. Once you step outside, you realize the game offers a surprising sense of freedom. There are three floors with several rooms, which can feel overwhelming at first because it’s unclear where to begin. Clicking on a hotspot brings up a close-up view, and from there you can often interact with another object for an additional close-up. This allows you to pick up items and store them in your inventory or manipulate elements such as buttons and switches. Nearly every interaction requires a clue, so you can’t simply click randomly and expect to stumble upon the solution. The entire experience centers on logic puzzles that must be solved in specific steps. Most clues are visual and somewhat abstract, meaning you often need to interpret them before you can even attempt the puzzle. There is also some item usage similar to traditional adventure games, but the system is simpler. You activate an item in your inventory with a click, and it remains active until you click it again, making it easy to test it on different objects. The game also includes a helpful screenshot feature that lets you capture the current screen. This prevents unnecessary backtracking when you forget an important detail. The screenshot system is intuitive: the currently selected image appears first, so you don’t have to scroll through all of them each time. You can draw on images, erase your scribbles, and delete any screenshots you no longer need. If you find yourself stuck on a puzzle for too long, there’s also an option to lower the difficulty or give up entirely.

시리즈 항상 재밌게 즐기고 있습니다. 이번에는 문제풀 때 도움될 수 있도록 캡쳐랑 그리기 기능이 추가되서 편하네요. 그리고 맵이 커져서 생각할 것도 많아지고 즐길것도 많아져서 즐거웠습니다. 다음 시리즈도 기대되네요.

Perso j'ai aimé comme tous les autres Paradixion. La fin est vraiment casse tête mais une fois le jeu terminé on en redemande. J'attends le suivant avec impatience. Un grand bravo à GomPangGames.
