The Outer Worlds: Spacer's Choice Edition

This game is unfortunately a piss poor attempt at an RPG. The setting is boring, and the hardcore/survival mode is just frustrating, particularly because it plays like a mid-tier borderlands clone when it is trying to be a Fallout New Vegas clone while failing at both. The gameplay itself is mid, but everything else surrounding this game is just junk. The layoffs at obsidian are clearly deserved when this is the slop they are producing at their crunch factories.

if i didn't got it for free id refund it, it is so inferior optimalyzation wise to base game its unreal and the fact its only version you can buy now really says something about society and video game market i guess

Versteh garnicht das Problem! Auf meinem Selbst zusammengeschusterten Office-Kartoffel PC läuft es super mit stabilen 60fps in 1080p. Mir reicht es vollkommen.

Maybe this remaster was designed for OLED screens because it looks awful on my LCD. Still fun though. Thx for the extra achievements steam.

The game is unplayable... The original works just fine, but this is a buggy mess. Even the opening scene didn't play...

played the original a lot and got it on multiple platforms even and then this came out, I will admit I was skeptical at next gen versions like these as a lot of the times they launch broken (and not saying this didnt but I simply didnt play this version when it first came out) but as it is now it is the full experience that being a 10/10 game and one of my favorites of all time. So far havent had many issues with performance either outside of one time that was moreso correlated to my browser taking too much memory in the background before I closed it and the gameplay as I said was is 10/10 if you are a fan of shooter rpgs

A ambientação do jogo é boa. Mas só isso. O resto do jogo é bem medíocre. Personagens extremamente desinteressantes e genéricos com aquele tipo de "Humor Disney Channel/Marvel".

лучше поиграйте в первое издание, с этим видимо сработало проклятье названия и оно вышло таким же кривым как и все что делал Spacer's choice

Recommended on a sale. Spent 43 hours in The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition, including a final “please let me uninstall this” sprint. It’s a solid RPG: engaging and morally interesting. It plays like Fallout: New Vegas got sent to HR, denied a raise, and coped by becoming sarcastic. The writing’s sharp, the quests are good, and the message is clear: corporations will grind you into paste and sell you back as “Now with 15% more dignity.” The problem: it tells you that message about 700 times. At first it’s funny. Then bleak. Then funny again. Then every terminal, ad, NPC, and vending machine is yelling it at you until you stop reading logs because you already know they say, “Morale is up after we removed lunch.” DLCs are solid. Peril on Gorgon is the standout, great corporate horror vibes. Murder on Eridanos is stylish but feels like a murder mystery taped onto a looter-shooter. The story’s fine, but weirdly the ending slides hit harder than the actual game. It’s like the game saved all its emotional impact for a PowerPoint presentation. Overall: good RPG, not great. Clever, fun, but desperately needs variety in tone. When everything is satire, the only surprise left is how fast you hit uninstall. Final verdict: worth finishing and worth deleting, recommended, but on sale.
