The Order of the Thorne - The King's Challenge

If you enjoy indie games that have a home-made feeling to it, this is perfect for you.

If you like adventure games like King's Quest from Sierra, then this is the game for you. I especially like the fact that the puzzles aren't quite as "dangerous" as the old Sierra games -- I'm not sure you can die or get stuck without a place to go. The storyline was reminiscent of KQIV, complete with fairy tales, which were loads of fun. We did have one glitch where we had to restart because the game thought we had done something that we hadn't. So, I do recommend to save your game often in case there is a bug. However, this was a great couple of hours and I really enjoyed it.

A nice 2-3 hour story. Checks all the boxes of an adventure game

It's alright as a nostalgia trip to point and click adventures. I feel like they could have innovated a little though. Can't say I have ideas how.

Остерегайтесь: квест подаётся сквозь настолько розовые очки, что может вызвать приступ цинизма и додумывания, как оно всё было на самом деле. Ведь историю пишут победители. Тем более - обладающие струнной магией. Ждём продолжения этого добротного квеста.
