There was a beetle and a bee and a frog and a spider and a grasshopper that was pretty cool :) Also a Yeti but he was mean >:(
This game isn't revolutionary or groundbreaking, but it gives you exactly what's promised: a simple platformer with really good art. Sometimes it's nice to have a non-complicated, short experience that may not change your worldview or have you remember it for the rest of your life. If you want something like that, this game isn't it. If you want a peaceful, short game about traversing dimensions, I would definitely give this game a try.
A beautiful game to play! Most of the worlds in the game feel so vivid, alive, and full of beautiful art. While playing, I felt how much peace and calm came to me (and the dialogues are also funny and brought me into the game). I highly recommend playing it! Especially if you liked Birdgut, from the same creator. But this game is a much less frightening experience with the boss fights; it’s more about having a deep experience of calmness and a good time.
A short and very unique platformer where one of the major selling points is that the visuals are created using various traditional art means (colored pencils, charcoal, etc). It's a puzzle platformer where the puzzles are not terribly difficult and overall the game length is about three hours at most. (SPOILERS BELOW) However, I feel like this game struck a different chord for me considering it's concept. It's about an explorer who finds himself jumping between different artistic worlds trying to find some semblance of purpose. He tries out different things, succeeding and failing in equal measure. He thinks he's figured something out, but then things go horribly wrong and he realizes he'd rather just go home. If anything, this game really epitomizes the experiences of being an artist of any kind. You try a bunch of things, attempting to understand some greater point until you realize that none of it matters and you'd rather go back to what you enjoyed before. Is it a terribly complex message? Not especially. Is the game complex or intricate? No. But it's something that we get so little of, a game that dares to explore the abstract personal struggles of finding an artistic identity that I think this one ends up standing out.
Juego cortito de plataformas y puzzles con muy buena dirección de arte. Ojala más juegos se atreviesen a explorar diferentes formatos como este.
