The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu

It is a very good, very stressful game. It's amazing. It has one of the best madness systems I've seen. Along with the specialized voice chat to make things more interesting. It has a steep learning curve but once you get the hang of it the missions become decently easier. Honesty one of the best games I've bought and extremely enjoyable with friends.

i PLAYED THE CRAP OUTTA IT. It was a game. I could only set it to ultra for everything... no ultra ultimate ultra.

The multiplayer setup ruins the idea of the game from the start. We had 2 steam players and a ps5 player and spent AN HOUR trying to find each other in the refresh lobby section. It actually frustrated us all enough we stopped bothering to even try to play. The entire aspect was a multiplayer horror game yet it’s almost impossible to play cross-platform unless you want to sit there for hours hitting refresh. I probably won’t even try the game again until this is fixed because it was a such a huge turn off right from the start. It also has no real explanations anywhere so you have to keep checking settings to know what the controls are which is horrendous.

Games filled with bugs that randomly kick you out. there is no search for server so you have to spend 20 minutes refreshing to find a server with your friends

Game has a pretty cool concept and gameplay but there is a couple of bugs that really ruin the experience. First item in you inventory will sometimes automatically be out in the cart when opening its inventory, without any real rhyme or reason. Another near game breaking bug is when I would play with my friend sometimes the game would randomly disconnect him and say network connection lost, while both or internets are completely fine. Also if you get hit while doing the kick lock animation the chest becomes completely non-interactable for the rest of the game. Overall game needs to fix a lot of bugs before I could recommend someone else pay money to play it.
