Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.43/day in the week to Aug 18 → 2.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

So okay, ngl I got a few good scares, best game to play on Halloween most of all because you are entitled to one good scare. I would highly recommend this game to my friends
Amazing story. Amazing atmosphere. Very replayable - the fear and paranoia is addictive.
I bought this game wanting to get back into the horror genre that I tabled for awhile as I played other things, but little did I know that there is a massive difference between Japanese horror (Resident Evil, The Evil Within, and similar) and American horror. Nor did I realize that I had actually never played an American horror game before this. This game scared the absolute life out of me multiple times and I'm kind of surprised I didn't have some kind of cardiac event, especially since I was dumb enough to play it with my gaming headset and thus maximize my immersion. Would I consider this game fun? No. Not at all, because I'm a weenie. But this is one of the most engrossing, story-rich games I've played in a long time. It's excellently written, and discovering the backstories of the mortuary, the proprietor, his former assistant Valerie, and Rebecca had me pushing through my inherent weenie-ness to find out more and unlock all the endings. The way the game drops you into Rebecca's memories and experience is unlike anything I've experienced before. Brian Clarke's storytelling mechanics are masterful, and Rebecca's growth as River Fields's new night-shift mortician is subtle yet somewhat sad. If you start off in Embalming Mode, she will somewhat excitedly announce that it's "Time to embalm" after she drops off the embalming report at the front desk. If you return to Embalming Mode after completing the story and unlocking the endings, she no longer says that. It's like the innocent enthusiasm is gone now that she understands the gravity of her work. Yet through all of this, Brian's use of humor is equally good. The items in Rebecca's apartment (specifically the cereal boxes) and DJ Two Shades make for some wonderful, much-needed levity given how heavy and legitimately frightening the game is. DJ Two Shades gets even funnier after the story, if you return to Embalming Mode to finish out the embalming- and cremation-related achievements. This is a truly excellent game and the movie didn't do it justice.
Great jumpscares, great ambiance. If you like jumpscary games, this might just be the game for you too.
