The Mermaid Mask

Great game from start to finish. It catches you right at the start because of the dark setting paired with omnious vibes and music. After you get dragged into the crime scene the whole story and many mysteries unfolds keeping you in a constant questioning state, where you have to solve tiny pieces of the puzzle to get the whole picture. Remarkable is the great story paired with absolutly outstanding voice acting performance, which gives every character a unqiue personalty. My recommendation is to play Tangle Tower first before stepping into this game because its filled with a lot of easter eggs.

Just like tangle tower, this game had great art and voice acting, and a fun hook with a cool process to discover and process new information. Unlike tangle tower, it also had a reveal and subsequent explanation that actually made sense, wasn't incredibly contrived, and offered a satisfying conclusion to the mystery. That, alongside the technical and artistic improvements to the game, makes this a clear step up from the already solid tangle tower. Definitely pick this game up if you can.

Чуваки, если вы, как и я, влюбились в детективные приключения Салли и Гримуара по прошлой части Tangle Tower - то бегом проходить эту! Здесь всё то же самое, но лучше и больше ) Но если вы знать не знаете никаких путанных башен, но вам просто нравятся уютные и атмосферные детективные истории с яркими персонажами, каждый из которых конечно же скрывает за душой по нескольку мрачных секретов, с парочкой неожиданных сюжетных поворотов, или же если вам просто нравятся головоломки и логические игры на сопоставление разных кусочков информации, то можете смело покупать эту игру - кайфанёте! Хотя я бы посоветовал все же сначала поиграть в Tangle tower (в целом эти две игры ПОЧТИ никак сюжетно не связанны. Ключевое слово тут - почти. Без прохождения предыдущей части лишитесь одного (пускай и не важного для расследования) сюжетного поворота, а кроме того [spoiler] очень милая сцена после титров с персонажами из прошлой части пройдет мимо вас [/spoiler] ) P. S. тут всё локализовано на русский! Прям с самого релизного дня! Даже не припоминаю, когда я видел такое от инди разработчиков в последнее время...

They've done it again. If you liked the first one, this is more of the same, but with better UI, animations, voice acting, all of it. Highly recommended. The dialogue is snappy, the story keeps moving, the puzzles are interesting without being impossible, and the dynamic hint system built in when you try an incorrect solution guides without telling, A+
