The Mermaid Mask

Another amazing adventure of Grimoire and Sally (we still need to see why she joined him, *wink wink*). Mermaid Mask has improved on a lot of things from Tangled Tower, specially the characters. Every single suspect is fleshed out in a way that allows the player to care about them. I kept finding myself thinking "Oh! I should show this to that person, see what they have to say!" Very engaging, which is a main point in games like this. Another thing I really liked was how we were able to know about the victim a lot more. We only knew about Freya in Tangled Tower through some of her belongings and what other characters told us, while Mortuga is shown in more ways than just that, which produced a better connection to the story. Also, Grimoire and Sally. Those two kind of needed some changes in their personalities (Grimoire being the silly detective and Sally being the serious sidekick). In this game, Grimoire is allowed to be serious and introspective when the time needs it, which allows Sally to be a bit more relaxed and silly since she doesn't have to keep him in check. Their interactions feel a LOT more natural, and you can see their friendship on display. And the ending.... Holy spoon, the ending. I'm still excited after watching it, they really wanted to give this game a magnificient send off. All in all, very recommended, better than the previous two games in my opinion. My only complain is.... Why isn't the soundtrack available? *Throws money at the screen* Take my moneys!!!

Been looking forward to this coming out as I loved Tangled Tower & it didn't disappoint. The character design & animation is beautiful, I loved being able to look through some of the designs after completing the game. The story is engaging and the voice acting and sound design really add to it. You can tell a lot of love and hard work went into making this game <3

Really, really great P&C. Awesome dialog, interesting story, good puzzles. Also great help system. Not just "more" Tangle Tower. I really enjoyed this one.

This is a wonderful game, full of wonderful art, wonderful voice acting, wonderful puzzles, and a wonderful story. It's all just wonderful. Genuinely had a little tear in my eye at the end because I was overwhelmed by how wonderful it all was. Wonderful!

Gran juego, sumamente entretenido

Es lo que esperarías de una secuela de Tangle Tower, el mismo encanto y carisma de los personajes, en interés que te produce apreciar la historia, es la formula que introdujeron en Tangle Tower más refinada, en un ecosistema diferente, con una tematica diferente. Eso si, cabe recalcar que se disfruta infinitamente más jugando Tangle Tower primero, ya que hay muchas referencias a el anterior juego (Tambien a Detective Grimore, aunque personalmente no he jugado a ese) pero me parece que las referencias a tangle tower podrian ser algo de Spoiler si no lo has jugado, así que recomendaría jugar ese primero.
