The Mermaid Mask

8/10 Every character was great. From design to voice, each one felt alive and wonderful. The story was stronger and better than Tangle Tower. Loved it. I did not see the twist coming and they were well executed. Some of the puzzles just needed better UIs or a better description on what to achieve. Some were just confusing or too difficult.

These Detective Grimoire games just keep getting better.

Great game. Puzzles aren't too bad. Except for one later on ([spoiler] pirate keys [/spoiler]). I didn't guess the culprit correctly this time. But there is cool foreshadowing such as ([spoiler] Gripp being the only one to point out the necklace fragment on the iron bell and him being called number 2 by Sym when you talk about the suspects with her[/spoiler]. Overall, very fun game and a step up from Tangle Tower. More compelling killer this time around.

Listen. Secret of the Swamp is one of the best games ever. Tangle Tower is like ten times better than it. And Mermaid Mask is ten times better than *that.* Just get all of them.

Excellent game. I started with Tangle Tower and then played the previous game in the series. The Mermaid Mask feels like an even more focused and well written game than the previous installments, though I love them all. The characters are very memorable and well designed and acted, and I found the puzzles fun. They were neither too hard nor too easy, in my opinion. The story had some interesting turns, and I liked the little nods to the previous games. In this series, I really enjoy how the main mystery connects to some supernatural elements in the world, and The Mermaid Mask takes this even further! Definitely recommend this game even if you haven't played the others.

10/10 game, they did it again! Another absolute banger game with incredible art, animation, plot and voice acting. Genuinely an all around great game! 100% worth buying and playing!
