Loving it
This story was surprisingly good, I really enjoyed it.
I played Life of a Space Force Captain, another game by the same creator, and really enjoyed it! Discussion about that game on Reddit highly recommended this game, but I was incredibly disappointed. Despite already having bought the game, it feels very play to win. There's an in-game purchase called the Legacy Advantage that I think you need to have any success in the game. I failed just about every skill check, despite doing all I could to increase my stats, and the game noted at times that the decisions I made were impossible sometimes. The skill checks were really high, and I really think you needed the Legacy Advantage to pass them. I didn't mind the failures at first, but, unlike Life of a Space Force Captain, your character doesn't learn from failing skill checks. I'd also hoped that failing so much would lead to some element of the story about your character growing over time, but it doesn't. The game is really, really short. I understand this is the first part of a trilogy, so I hope the story will continue to grow, but the skill checks are impossibly high, the characters aren't interesting, and the dialogue feels kind of rough. Having played a more recent game first, it is interesting to see how the author has improved, but the game just isn't fun or engaging. That being said, I think the worldbuilding is interesting with the demonstones. That is the only part of the game I like, though, and I think the skill checks to do anything interesting with them isn't possible without buying the Legacy Advantage.
its oky you can have fun with it maybe 6/10

By far the best text-based game series I have played. I have played a lot of these text-based games, and this one is by far the best. It was enough each game to make me want to buy the next and continue the story. All the different options, classes, etc. make also have great replay value. I have played through many times, a total of 20 hours on the first game alone. If you are really into text-based games, or just starting out and looking for one to try, I definitely recommend this. It is well worth the low price point.
if you enjoy classic fantasy rpgs you'll enjoy lost heir.
