(The Lingering) Last Customer

The Lingering Last Customer is a pretty cool game with unique controls. The concept is refreshing, and I seriously love the puns they sneak into the story, lol. It shows a lot of potential, and I’m excited to see how it grows. Definitely worth checking out!!!

So far game ini sedikit melebihi ekspektasi, apalagi ada feel nostalgia ala ala classic Resident Evil & Silent Hill ... biar lebih gampang ane bikin 2 kolom , kolom pro dan cons Pro : - ceritanya sederhana dengan mengadaptasi kisah nyata yang simple - fix camera angle yang membawa kembali feel nostalgia - System looping room ketika kita salah berprogres bikin shock therapy yang menarik - Jawaban kita sama si mba susan ternyata berpengaruh dengan progres game kedepan (no spoiler) - Desain ruangan yang berubah menjadi berantakan secara tiba tiba - Suara berdialog mba susan yang aneh justru nambah feel horror - jumpscare yang ga cheap dan seperlunya - cara ngejar si jurig yang horror ditambah fix camera itu ga ada obat (gatau apalagi , kalo masih ada nanti di tambah) Cons - Desain karakter susan yang lebih serem daripada hantu - Control movement yang bikin pusing karna fix camera angle (tiap ganti kamera gerakannya jadi ga jelas) - Susan yang terlalu maksain ngasih tau soal rahasia gedung , yang mana lebih baik kalo itu tetep dijaga biar kita jadi makin penasaran dan ga langsung sus sama si susan - dialog yang ga bisa di skip , kadang bikin kesel juga apalagi pas maen kedua kali yang mana kita udah tau tapi harus nunggu dialognya beres dulu - looping room yang bikin kita balik lobby justru jadi bumerang ketika kita udah berhasil dapet kunci buat keluar , yang awalnya kesulitan cari jalan ke lobby , tapi karna tau cara nya , cukup temui jurignya kita langsung ke lobby dan beres , entah itu plot hole atau emang storynya gitu - storyline yang ngasih tau soal digedung itu ada hantunya terlalu banyak di kasih tau , lewat voice note , lewat susan , padahal kalo cuma lewat voice note aja dan biarin kita nyari tau sendiri bakal lebih oke keknya segitu dah so far ini game bagus , kekurangan dalam detail detail kecil aja , tapi masih bisa enjor dimainin , dan storynya juga ga panjang , ane cuma maen 40an menit tamat ... di tunggu next episodenya

It respects your time while still delivering a complete experience with tension, subtle story beats, and a solid scare or two. - Retro horror charm. Tank controls and retro visuals aren’t common anymore, so this felt nostalgic in a good way. Kinda reminded me of Resident Evil and Silent Hill games, if those are what you are into. - Love that they incorporate true horror stories into their game, the layer of realism adds a nice, unsettling touch to the experience. [b]What could be better:[/b] - Would love more endings. This might just be me comparing it to their previous title, [url=https://store.steampowered.com/app/854570/Pamali_Indonesian_Folklore_Horror/]Pamali[/url], which had multiple endings that encouraged replayability. - Choice prompts feel misleading. Occasionally during dialogues, a message like “This action will have consequences” pops up — but… does it? If the devs were just trying to mess with our heads, I get it — but it left me expecting branching paths or hidden endings that never came. - Price vs. Playtime. While I don’t mind that the game is short (especially since it's based on a true story), US$5.99 for a 1.5-hour game — where I streamed, chatted, and [spoiler]died multiple times[/spoiler] — makes the actual core gameplay even shorter. For comparison, the Pamali bundle iirc is under $22 with all DLCs, and I’ve spent over 24 hours on it without even hitting all 117 achievements. It's interesting to see a PSX horror adaptation set in Indonesia. Of course there are multiple iterations of PSX horror but the atmosphere in (The Lingering) Last Customer feels like you're playing classic survival horror game like Resident Evil 1. However I wish the control does not retain the tanky yet hard to control movement like in PS1 games.

Very cool retro horror game. The haunting section was quite challenging. I liked the creepy setting of the empty spa.

This game has some fun elements and a decent atmosphere, but it definitely comes with a few frustrations. On the plus side, the gameplay loop can be enjoyable once you get into the rhythm of it. The setting is eerie in a fun way, and the graphics are pretty solid—somewhere between okay and good. It has that indie charm and can definitely scratch that horror puzzle itch. That said… Susan’s voice. 😬 It gets irritating fast and starts to wear on you the longer you play. And the shower item hunt? Yikes. It's more frustrating than challenging. If you walk into a room and it doesn't have one of the four items you need, you're forced to go all the way back to the check-in area. It kills the pacing and makes the whole process feel unnecessarily punishing. Overall, it has potential and can be fun in bursts, but some design choices really hold it back. A good pick if you’re into quirky horror titles and can overlook the annoying bits.

konsepnya menarik bakal bikin banyak game berdasar kisah horor rakyat, untuk artstyle oke, gameplaynya standard aja tapi bisa di improve di banyak hal seperti sudut pengambilan gambar, dan perlu adanya map. Selebihnya aku rekomendasikan main buat dapat pengalaman cerita horor dari keseharian orang indonesia.

Loved it, the style is great, based on a true story, what more can you ask? Pamali, from the same fantastic dev studio is still my favorite but this is a sweet short horror story that is going to bring you back to the old horror console style for a fun spooky relaxing time at the spa ~
