GOOD JOB! Storytale Dev! Minor bug bisa disempurnakan Proud of you guys! Semangat selalu mewarnai industri game tanah air! Thank you!
This game started out good, I really loved the Resident Evil PS1 style. However things went downhill fast. The NPC that you have to talk to has this very annoying voice effect that gets annoying very fast. And since the dialog in this game goes on... and on... and on... you can see how annoying this becomes. The controls also get annoying since they feel like they have a mind of their own. Due to how the camera works, the controls work in a way where WSAD gets moved to fit the camera... unless you are moving, then for some unknown reason the movement controls stay the same. Which causes a bit of issues. Then this game has a very annoying thing where it easily punishes the player for things out of their control. In one part you had to collect 4 items to take a shower. However if you entered a room which didn't have one of these items, you was sent back to the start. Due to how you have no idea where the 4 items can spawn are, and how there are dozens of rooms you can enter, this quickly becomes annoying and repetitive. After this part though was the worst of my experience. The game makes you try to go into a certain area without getting caught by a ghost. However the Ghost's AI, for some unknown reason, acts very odd where it can still move through cutscenes, and since this part has several of them, you can easily die because the game forced you into a cutscene and then into a dead end where then the ghost kills you. I ended up getting softlocked because the ghost camped a door which you HAVE to go through and made it impossible for me to progress. These issues, plus the fact the devs didn't provide a save system so you have to do the whole game in a single sitting (and if you get softlocked your ♥♥♥♥ out of luck), make the game very annoying very fast where the player just feels like they are being punished for things they had no control of.

this game reminds me of Resident Evil 1 style i like it!! its really fun game and worth to play!
It's a decent indie quick horror. If you're looking to fill an hour you could do worse.
Spoopy: 5/10 Overall: 4/10 Good: * It had a prelude which helped explain the story. The other Pamali: Indonesian Folklore Horror games did not have this. * The flow of the game was better than the other Pamali: Indonesian Folklore Horror games. * The Spoops were okay. * Atmosphere was good. * Had a volume slider. Bad: * The controls were very bad even on controller. It reminded me of "Tank Controls" like in Silent Hill but worse. * Too expensive for what it is. * The cut scenes often ruined the flow of the game. I feel they were unnecessary. They tried the Silent Hill cut scene thing but didn't implement it well a lot of the time. It really only worked one time. * The text goes by automatically and too quickly at times. * The text is a bit hard to read. Buy the game on sale for 50% or more. If you are looking for a short horror game to play, it is a bit of a indie jank horror game. But for what it is, it is decent.
The only downside is the tank controls i wish it was first person. https://youtu.be/zE4Jp69RX2Q?si=ZpPWJmziXV8zLrwb
It' s beautiful little Indonesian horror game (and I am kinda addicted to Indonesian horror, so it was a no-brainer for me) in retro style. The controls can be a hassle at times (I used a keyboard, maybe it' s better with a gamepad?), but otherwise I really enjoyed the atmosphere and I am thankful, that Storytale are making more of the things they really do well (though I would love more episodes of Pamali too!)
I really wanted to like this game since it was made by the Pamali devs and I had loved that series for the most part... but I can't in good conscience recommend this, and I tried to like it. Let's start with the positives: - The art style is really fun! I love this PS1 aesthetic they got going now and the camera angles they chose for some of the shots in the game were very inspired, clearly they knew what they were doing with that. And it was fun seeing how the game location changed as time went on Sadly that's it for the positives... - First of all, the controls are atrocious. I've played games with tank control before and they were just fine, but this game was quite infuriating to play. I tried first with a keyboard then with a controller, and both felt quite horrible to play - The jumpscares were quite quite cheap and not scary at all. To be honest, the controls were the scariest thing about this game. - The story is quite basic and - while it could've worked - it went straight into "something here is wrong!!!" too quickly. I think it'd have worked better if the story had sloooooowly let the player and main character realize that something is off in the spa. - The game had a very infuriating bug that made me lose a ton of time:
Somehow, after going through a door, I somehow moved back one world state? Like, the spa wasn't that dirty anymore and the ghosts weren't chasing me in the hallway anymore. My objective was still to find the Changing Room, but I was now in the world looking for the shower items??? It took me some minutes of walking around and opening doors, but going back to the shower area reset the world state to the one where you're looking for your clothes
Overall, I really like the art style and I think the developers can do a lot with this... but they need get the controls right next time they make a game in this style, let the story settle in a bit slower, and have the jumpscares be... actually scarier. Not louder, just scarier, maybe try being more subtle about it? I wish the best to the devs and I hope their next games will be improvements only~
