Nino Maze LOFI

A cat themed maze solving game with 40 levels in total to solve. First 20 levels are nice but the last 20 feel more like an endurance challenge because there is a very obvious path where you should go but the cat you control just moves around so slowly and the levels are so big so they take forever. Works without any issues on Linux with Proton (6.3-8).

I went on a whim and decided to get a 9-Game puzzle game pack that would be a fun idea to stream, this was one of the games. This game seems very bad at first with no real challenge to it, but after a few levels, the mazes start to mess your head because of the background mixing with the textures of the maze. Other than that, it literally is "Cat goes through maze, grab fish while listening to chill music" This doesn't mean it's bad whatsoever. In fact- it's really good. It's not claiming to be a crazy brain-teaser, but it's just something to relax your brain with. The minimalistic design really goes well with the games concept as well. Good for people who want to chill to the music while having something brain numbing to do. I only have one real issue, and if there's a solution and I'm stupid, then it's invalid. Theres not really a volume slider to turn down the in-game music. I had to open volume mixer to fix how loud it was, granted I have a confusing audio setup that doesn't benefit games on their first bootup, but the volume slider would've been a nice option. Otherwise, solid 10/10, game has simple goals, beautifully achieves them.

Pros: Arte incrivel; Animacoes muito bem feitas; Musicas te deixam bem manso; 20 leveis. Contras: Do level 1-18 e so bater o olho que voce ja consegue tracar o caminho; Os leveis escuros deviam ser os ultimos, ja q eles sao mais dificeis de encontrar o caminho justamente pela cor deixar o visual mais confuso; O final deixa meio a desejar, faltou um pouco de aproveitamento do estilo do jogo pra desenvolver sem q o player perceba uma historia oculta.

The store page banner is cute, and that's just about it. The game is just "How to make a maze for dummy" all the way to the end... Brain is not required to solve any of the maze in this game. And I am the type that will always be the 1st to gone missing in a maze (ask those who play online dungeon games with me and they'll tell you how bad i am at mazes), and i find this way too easy. And I did learn how to make maze back in SL and this is exactly what a beginner maze builder will build as their 1st project. But all 40 stages are done in that pencil grid and eraser method all through out this game, no effort is put into it at all. A small child can make these mazes or probably do a better job than these. Nothing is mind blowing. The only "difficulty" you will face is the slow walking speed of the cat and the bad choice of color on the maze to make it hard for the player to tell the maze walls from the floor, a way to "fake difficulty" on a super linear maze. Even when the game tried to sell with a "Cat Theme", there's only 2 badly drawn CG with a cat in it in the whole game, no story whatsoever. Not recommended at all.
