Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Sep 3 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Отличная игра.
The Legend of Heroes: Trials of Cold Steel** — это ролевая игра, которая предлагает игрокам погрузиться в мир политических интриг, сражений и развития персонажей. Игра разработана студией Nihon Falcom и является частью популярной серии The Legend of Heroes. Cała seria jest świetna
Sehr schöne "Einleitung" in den neuen Erebonia Ark

I love about 95% of this game. Except for 1 character, how the "dating sim" part feels, and 1 story plot. However, that doesn't really ruin the experience overall. Every NPC adds to the story, don't forget to talk to them all at least twice. The battle system takes some getting used to. This was my first Legend of heroes game. If you have played the earlier games, I am sure it will be easy to pick up. The story telling in this game is terrific. Everything in this game seems important to the story. I can't wait to play the rest of the games
The Legasewdn oif Hereos: Trails of colde Steel
at around the same time as DRUG/CULT BUSTS and subsequent EVERYTHING BECOMING ON FIRE were happening in CROSSBELL, various POWERS THAT BE in the massive empire of EREBONIA gathered up the most PROTAGONIST-CODED new students in their famed military academy THORS and put them into a SPECIAL NEW CLASS. among them is low ranking noble/the 2010s harem lead ever/stray sentai show black ranger who got lost on the way to the one quarry every tokusatsu films their action scenes in REAN SCHWARZER, who while largely ignorant to the political machinations pulling the strings must GET TO KNOW HIS CLASSMATES and GET GOOD GRADES at GOING ON VARIOUS SCHOOL TRIPS to PLAY BRACER. cold steel is reportedly where the trails series started to get major popularity in jrpg circles, and if you give it a cursory look you'll probably see why! it's not only a very nice looking ps3 game, but falcom absolutely went out of their way to gather up all the most popular anime and games of the late 00s-early 2010s, grind them into a fine powder, and snort them like western auteurs doing coke lines. we have code geass at home. we have persona 3 at home. we have every big name high school harem romcom at home, AND, rean has a concentration of every Preteen Cool protagonist trope boiled into him. comparing cold steel 1 to trails from zero, as the erebonia arc opener and therefore the Game That Has To Do All The Establishing, i think that cs1 does a much better and more natural job at integrating its tour of erebonia into the story (you are literally a student going on field trips designed to get you familiar with local issues) and justifying your party's bargain bin bracer act (the guild has not recovered from getting murked by ouroboros and the erebonian government during the liberl games, which were only a couple years ago). cs1 is also a lot more politically shortsighted than previous trails games for that reason--your party is a bunch of dumbass teens who for the most part are more preoccupied with their personal issues and erebonia's internal politics than what their country has done and is still doing to its neighbors, which they've been trained to think of as Completely Normal. the structure of the story makes the inevitable party shuffling feel very natural as well, and you get a nice spotlight on/introduction to all your funny little guys as the story unfolds. as with the crossbell games, cs has romance mechanics, but it's much more up-front about them, and fraternizing with rean's potential conquests has benefits in the combat system too. what is very silly about the cold steel games is that even though all your male classmates are romance options AND amongst them crow is given weight near that of main heroine alisa, falcom has developed a case of the homophobias/decided male players are too weenie to handle male bisexuality and slaps a hasty coat of BUT NO ♥♥♥♥!!!!! onto the boys' scenes. like. yall dropped this game in '13 AND youre perfectly happy putting MULTIPLE lesbian sex pests in your series. Cmon Man battle has been revamped from previous series, with the new combat link system integrating character relationships and the arcus orbments nerfing casters. basically, instead of quartz each having elemental point values that the game uses to calculate what arts (spells) your characters can use based on your point totals per sepith line, your spells are limited to a set pool attached to your master quartz, and the only other way to get arts is to slap a dedicated quartz into your gazaider like they're ff7 materia. so, if you have dedicated casters, you're going to have to balance arts quartz with stat boost quartz to keep them competitive. AND YET, sepith lines still exist--meaning it's extra expensive to unlock slots for magically oriented characters, making it even more difficult to keep them viable compared to your bruisers. your mileage WILL vary based on your own playstyle but personally i am not a fan lol cs1 also has a little bit of jank due to it being trails' first foray into 3D, but it's minor and tends to be on the so-funny-it's-charming side (ex if you try to change directions while running your character will slow to a walk and have to build up speed again. rean has tank controls!!!). aside from rank cowardice out of falcom the major flaw cs1's story has is the pacing of its endgame: part of the story was scrapped for time and meant to be included as an audio drama, and after the story's climax there's an extremely silly Enormous Final Dungeon in the middle of the denouement for no other reason other than falcom apparently felt insecure about the denouement being low on combat. Lol. there aren't even chest phrases anymore to make it feel less tedious... BUT all in all i had fun with cs1. its characters are fun, its environments are very pretty, and the trails brand requisite sewer dungeons are improved by having Amazing Moth Technology. cold steel is a 4-game-long arc and so it's a large commitment, but if your wallet and schedule allow for you to play 4 70-80ish hr games, these'll keep you entertained.
