Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Sep 3 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Perfect!
Incredible! The story is engrossing and the combat fun. It gives Xenosaga a run for its money!
The first game in this series that I played. 10/10. Already my second favorite JRPG ever. Gonna go back and play the whole series in release order (as has been recommended to me) hopefully the rest of the series holds up.
cliff hanger ending on your first entry.
Game was very good until the very end - which I thought sucked. The mech battle mechanics were stupid and I thought the way they ended it was bad. I could think of a dozen ways they could have made it better and still leave it as a to be continued.
I would only recommend this to people who have played the series through Azure. A lot of people skip ahead to this one because it's the first 3D and English VA'd game in the series, but that route is becoming less appealing with a full modern remake of Sky FC. While it's positioned as a standalone story, I would not have enjoyed this without seeing the foreshadowing of the major events of Azure. It's yoinking the format of Persona social links/school calendars combined with some of the worst anime tropes out there that stink up the writing. I have played Sky FC through to Cold Steel 4 before and I can safely say this is my least favorite Trails game, but it's like a 7/10 overall. What comes after it are much higher stakes and better emotional payoff. The music is still amazing. You need the SenPatcher mod to add toggle instead of hold for turbo while also disabling the animation canceling of turbo.
if you enjoy story focused turn based game play with points to make educated guesses this is a good one. Also fun to stream and the story makes it easy to keep discussion flowing with your friends/viewers
