A super short cute and cozy game. It's very mind numbing and doesn't require much work. Pros: super adorable world/graphics, love the golems/bots, objectives listed on top left of screen (makes it easy to keep track of!), you can walk/glide/sail, plenty of money leftover to buy everything you need Cons: movement is kinda slow, 3 achievements currently do not work in game (the walking/gliding miles & visiting all locations - the rune one is currently working) The devs are aware of the achievement issues as of October but no updates have been posted on when it will be fixed. This game is definitely worth trying out - and its free to play. Can't wait to see the next game that comes out! <3 :)

Its starts out with walk around and collect garbage to dump. Bag size increases as you go but why increase to 60 when the garbage counter is going down? Once you collect all the trash and get rid of it and turn the windmills and robots on, that's it. Can't even restart the game to collect garbage again. No end. No full cohesion to bring it all together. Beautiful, but worse than books with no ending that leave the reader hanging for the next 50 years of their life. I'll just mention that gliding seems more like falling lightly, if you can even get it to work. Don't try to get on high things to glide off either, there is no way. If you need completion in any way in your life, don't play.
I am shall just get right to it. if you are reading this please remember it's just a game and just one opinion and findings. yes, in my review I will write this in a mix of bad and good grammar/syntax a mix of read as written or read as if it's spoken. this is somewhat how I show/know if something is off when I hear it or read it I would give this a 6 out of 10 because 5 is not enough and 10's to many. (inside joke from Dapper Manatee - Thomas/Mitch) any-who 6/10 1. getting around the island is nice and easy but also slow, and feels like a purposeful choice to make the game last longer/feel longer, I think it's not a great choice to push that, for the whole game, for me it gets tedious and boring. 2. I would suggest having some more story or at least "hidden" story for those gamers that re-explore in one play though. it looks to me like there a a few plot holes. 3. some to most of the in-game conversation text needs to be re-reviewed as there are grammar and syntax errors. (English) 4. the gliding function needs some more work as I could not get it to activate most times, and when it did work the animation does not load every time. otherwise gliding was a nice feature 5. more/different/"better" upgrades, if you are going to put in things like scaling up items (backpack) or the like, using boats or running around for 2ish hours (steam rounds down for the time and rounds up the time some) needs to also scaled up some to a point and/or have the option for upgrades. 6. intro does not wait for a person to be able to read the text and in the game there seems to be no way to read text faster if a person wanted to. 7. key controls and video needs more functions like "key binding to a persons preferred style" and have the game load in a windowed/full-screen/windowless mode "like having a smaller screen/window to play the game on" 8. most to ALL of the video/art, in my opinion, is some of the best art and video I have seen in a while and I would metaphorically bet money(I am poor-ish LOL) that it is the best that has come out if it was to be judged against other games, even some AAA games that I have had a chance to play on "steam free weekends" events, the sound are great and the music is pretty good. 9. some achievements seem to be hard to activate like "all locations" and others seem un-do-able or ridiculous like 300 miles for "walking" or "gliding" I hope this helps with future games and game development
This is a very hesitant thumbs up. I love the atmosphere of the game, and the overall aesthetic. I love the mission of exploring an island, cleaning it up, and finding some secrets along the way. What I don't like is the glitchiness, the lag, and the inconsistent achievements. I missed 3 achievements... 2 being the 300 mile traveling ones (whatever), but the 3rd was visiting all locations. There are no more question marks left on my map, all the names are filled in now, and I visited the 2 distant islands to gain their specific achievements... so either the achievement is flawed or I'm missing something simple. I also mentioned the achievements were inconsistent... yeah, because I got the "clean all the trash on the island" achievement after picking up my first piece, smh. This game could really use a tune up, and then probably all the reviews on here would be a thumbs up!
Don't be fooled by the cute graphics, this isn't a good game by any means. It's an unfinished, janky mess, probably scrambled together to receive some ecology funding or something. If the goal is to teach children to collect trash, it shouldn't be as tedious and unrewarding. All this will achieve is make you waste your time. There's no run button so you need to trigger the glider every three seconds. A lot of animations are missing: You simple stand still on the rowing boat, you walk in the water - all of this at a painfully slow pace. The camera gets stuck after dialogues so you run around out of view in the hope that the game fixes itself, which it sometimes doesn't. No point in playing this garbage, no pun intended. 3/10
chill game, though I had an achievement not trigger, and you more unreasonably slow in water and can't jump out of it. or pause in the water
Played through this game last night. I have to say that it is very cute and I love the music included in the game. It is very calm, relaxing, and I love that we are cleaning up the environment. For being a free game this was a lot of fun, though I will be honest it did feel a little unfinished. There are a few things I think would make the game better. - Movement speed needs to be a little faster. Sometimes it really felt like I was dragging my feet and even sailing in the boats seemed very slow. - The glide command needs looked at. I tried on both controller and mouse, but the command only wanted to work around 2 out of 10 times. Even if I climbed up high and jumped off a hill or over hang. - I think the game needs a gallery for the pictures. I still cannot find the pictures I took in my game, even though it says it saves it. - A tracker for the walking and gliding achievements. It would be really nice to know how much farther I need to go. - A better ending. As the ending sits right now it still feels a little unfinished. I didn't really get the feeling that I accomplished anything besides cleaning up the beach. Even with all this, I still recommend checking it out. The actual exploration was very fun and I loved seeing all the robots scattered around the island.
