Rétro, fun et atypique on peut y passer des heures sans réfléchir.
Fun but needs updated bad.
For what it's worth, pretty fun. Auto Battler on a bike.

Current state: Promising Shooter game with rogue-lite elements in the form of currency you collect for every run which you can use to unlock upgrades. Has a 'one more run' element to it which is mandatory for a proper rogue-lite. Some things to note though due to Early Access: Limit to upgrades. Components such as the Lab which is not done yet. Also: Slow unlock speed and for the moment being you have to juggle between having a single shooting but powerful gun which is strong enough to beat the Kraken boss. Or then have a wide firing setup that absolutely bags everything but cannot defeat the Kraken before it whacks you. As a result the game basically forces you to figure out a setup that has enough firepower but still gives you a chance to survive the hordes until you reach the boss. Treat this as a pro or a con if you will. I for the moment being consider it a limiting factor as for now the game forces your hand: Do a run to maximize currency to buy upgrades OR go for a run that has a realistic chance of taking down the Kraken using a gun that has enough DPS, narrow enough shot to make all shots count and you the player hopefully good enough at dodging at this stage as you won't be reaching the boss without some really good dodging skills with a non-wide firing gun easily. I am sure many genre veterans eyes actually light up at this stage as this sounds like a challenge so... know what you like.
Okay, this is a very close one for me in regards to recommend vs not recommend - at least as it stands at this point in early access. This is because the game has interesting bones, and the creator seems to have a specific vision in mind, but it isn't quite where I'd want to see it for the genre (which is a cross between a sidescroller and a bullet heaven) Since it's still in dev, going to go with notes instead of pros/cons like I usually do: - Graphics have a unified feel and are easy to read (although a bit chaotic at times) - only issue I had was the red level with 'heat waves' did give me motion sickness, but that's an issue I have with other games too (mostly ones with head bob/screen shake) - Controls are fine as well, though I find it hard to keep up with just how many enemies spawn and where - with the side scrolling aspect, I would generally favor 'stage right' spawning, at the very least until more weapon upgrades are reached to allow for more solutions. - The weapons can get interesting if you get far enough in, though I find that only a few of my runs let me get that far, as I would usually end up overwhelmed by trying to keep track of so many different types of enemies at once (at one point I was having to weave through passive and aggressive ground units, while having rear spawning fliers, and floating eyes shooting at me from the front - which is hard to track with a 'bullet heaven' style interface, and is why most 'bullet hells' go with heavily limited color schemes as opposed to the bullet heaven schemes which are more environmental like this one) - The supers (tied to bikes) were a bit underwhelming for how rarely you can use them, and I weirdly find myself wishing for a healing bike rather than the skills available because it's pretty much guaranteed you will be hit in this. - I see a number of complaints about keeping track of sky vs ground in the reviews elsewhere too, and I oddly think that changing it so that ~2/3 or 3/4 of the screen was road, would actually fix this since it is likely a visual divide issue that messes with the player's attention. A stage select for endless mode would be nice too. Like I said, still early in development, and the bones are there, so giving it a tentative thumbs up with hope of seeing where it goes, and hoping to see more metaprogression to make the runs easier to start or more dynamic in your tools, since there's still meta progression "in development"
EA Review: Sick shooter with dynamic gameplay; aiming shots while controlling your bike as enemies both scroll into play and drop from above. Gets intense, can't wait for the full release! For more niche curation, follow me at: https://store.steampowered.com/curator/27440015-CSH-Picone/
the games not bad just VERY unoptimized. It is using around 80% of my gpu. I dont think any game in this universe that is so small should be using so much power. this should be adressed and fixed ASAP the game by itself is what you would expect out of it. it is going for a arcady style, which it does very nicely Balancing suggesion: less enemies spawn so fast? (feels like there are too many enemies that spawn too quickly.) i would like to give it a positive review but until the whole unoptimized state gets sorted i am not changing my review. 6/10 will redo the review when the game gets optimized
The core gameplay just weak. Sorry guys. I hope if devs would read it, they won't be discouraged by my words. Red monsters - is harmless, and blue and green do damage? Are you trolling your gamers? :D It's a very misleading, red = danger in all languages! Upgrades with a tick damage? Bike is going to fast to make this damage of use. Maybe with some boss, but I've got tired less than half an hour playing the game. It's not clear where the biker is on the road and hard to define whether you are going to avoid obstacle or not. Overall design very simple. Not ugly, but without a face. I think, it's possible that biker with a gun with some retrowave music on the background can make some impression. But not in the current condition. Overall controls feel kinda clunky, not clear how to use bike and use roll over to kill monsters on the go. In order to buy something, you should hold a button. Is that a console game? Poor weapon selection and perks are not in the release atm. I get, it still in the EA, I wish, honestly, developers to finish their game and make it more interesting to play. Game costs literally nothing, but in the current condition I can't give advise to buy it, sorry.
