This game is worth $20 easy. Anything less than that is a steal. This always happens with games that are honestly difficult. It doesn't hold your hand It doesn't hand you a tissue when you cry. This game asks you to get good or go home. And unfortunately it's not for everyone. At this point my 3 man group has managed to unlock 6 of the 9 rewards hidden behind completions. We've not beaten the second boss on Raider and that's what makes us keep coming back, The game is hard but it feels like there's things we could've done better. Different builds, different group comps, different wave defense strategies. This game is a GEM. It's tragic that the generation of gamers in 2026 don't appreciate content that truly tests your skills. Currency management, wave management, aim, movement and pathing, Ability cooldowns, teamwork. You need to learn all of these skills or you will die. Super Mario bros 3 on NES released in the 80s is harder than 99% of games released in 2026. This game is giving Nintendo a run for their money. The DEV is extremely responsive in discord and seems to care a lot. +rep
I am really impressed with the quality of this game for the price point and it being developed by one dev. The graphics are very nice. It has a Borderlands feel with the outlines and if you don't like the outlines you can actually turn them off in the settings, which is really cool that they even give you that option. The weapons and ability use feels great. In fact there are tons of abilities and passives to customize how you play as well as 3 base body suits (with different stats) to start and 3 to unlock. You get to customize your colors (there's two) and can unlock body effects through playing (WHY is my favorite currently). There's not a ton of monster variety but it isn't too bad since they will keep you on your toes. You got monsters in the air, monsters down the hall and even monsters in your ass (watch out for those scorpions, they can be a menace). Difficulty ranges from not too bad to quite challenging depending on your difficulty setting. I really like how almost everything is shared when playing co-op. I don't have to worry about not getting to pick a passive card if my partner picks one because I get one too. Everyone gets their own Crystals during a run and if you want to help out you can even trade some of yours so your buddy can get that sweet passive or weapon upgrade. Replay value will depend on your preferences I feel. Currently the levels can feel a little repetitive since the worlds are the same each run. The rooms can change though. A room you see in one run may not be in the next. For me it isn't too big of a deal but it could be a big deal for someone else. It would be cool if a randomized world feature is added in the future. Overall it's worth $15 IMO. My only gripe is the sound when you jump. I like to jump a lot and the sound just isn't great. But that is what I get for spamming spacebar. :) Give the game a try!
If you're a fan of rougelikes: do yourself a favor and buy this amazing indie game. This game is incredible and has very good build crafting(which is important in a good rougelike). I've found lots of enjoyment in the online play, the only issue I've encountered is not enough people are playing this game so the online is hard to find but it's fun when availible. I will say the upgrades tend to be very percentage heacy like +5% damage or +10 percent crit chance and some people may not like those kinds of upgrades but I am a fan of just stacking percentage buffs in games so the upgrades appeal to me. This game does something more rougelikes should do in that you can craft your own loadouts to use in a run which is cool since I'm used to rougelikes like ROR2 and Slay the Spire which have preset characters with little to no customization. The games runs well and is visualy appealing with the cell shaded art style. I have enjoyed the sound design and especially the music. Some of the tracks in the game sound like ROR2 tracks, if you know you know. Anyhow, this game is great and the only two complaints I have at the moment are a) that it might be a bit too harsh for falling off the map, especially when 4 of the 6 maps take place on platforms and bridges above the void, to end your run. Falling should just do a bunch of damage or something. However, when playing with others it does not end the run just instakills you and teamates have to revive; and b) the big golem boss that is one of the 2 first bosses is a bit too harsh for melee characters due to his black hole being unable to be hit except from range. All in all I have heavily enjoyed my time with this game, more than I expected too, and would highly recommend to others.
Its an amateur solo dev. Its not perfect, but theres a good bit of passion to it. Give it a shot.
Great Game Incredibly well done for a 'Single-Developer' Game. The only downside's are lack of story or tutorial, It is a hard game, if you don't get good you will have a bad time. So far so good having alot of fun.Its not hard to pick up and play solo or with others. From a solo Dev its awesome!Run great i seen no problems others had said they had.
Positive: - Nice selection of weapons that feel and sound powerful - Lots of active and passive skills to create your builds - Each boss has its own unique mechanics - Secret levels that you can discover throughout a run Negative: - Very few enemy types - Lack of map variety - Some skills feels completely useless - You can't see the ping of other players before joining them Overall I recommend this game for both solo and coop players.
I played this game when it was a demo during steam next fest and really enjoyed it and bought it when it released. The match making is a little buggy but overall the game is really fun and has a ton of potential. When I found out this was made by one dude, I was shocked! I think he did an awesome job and am looking forward to the future roadmap improvements and additions.
Honestly I really liked this game, the challenges that this game adds and on top of that the experience you can get with your friends. I liked the art style of the game too! Can't wait for the future updates!
