really tried to give this game a chance but it is such a let down, its pretty basic but so so clunky, enemies lead their attacks to hit you wherever you are moving which would be fine if the movement in the game wasn't the absolute worse. 90% of the spells you learn are useless because of range or casting style. the upgrades you get from level to level are so minuscule it feels like you are doing a no upgrade run every time regardless of what you do.
that was the record for "most boring game in the least amount of time" There's absolutely no inspiration or creative juices in this at all...... Such a shame.
Game's abandoned, buggy, and has several parts that need to be redesigned. As many others have said, upgrades dont feel like they do anything, all primary attacks feel the same, and i feel like several aspects are TOO random, you go into a run and say "i wanna try a lightning build" and not see anything relevant the entire game, pretty much all elements are the same anyway. The META strategy is to walk in a circle in every map, all enemies pathfind directly to you, not trying to cut you off, or anything beyond go forward and smack, so unless an enemy spawns directly ontop of you, you dont really take damage on the normal stages, the developers tried to solve this by adding more enemies, so that theres more of a chance of them spawning ontop of you, but its still not great The bosses solve this by being impossible to dodge, The first boss for example that has an attack that throws rocks everywhere around them, if the hitboxes matched the rocks, then sure, itd be fine, but the hitboxes are actually like 8 times the size of the rocks, unless you can get some insane luck, you REQUIRE a spell that gives you elevation to beat him, sometimes, even with one of those spells, i'm like "surely that misses me" and it still somehow hits and does half my health (this game doesnt have passive healing, or healing items, you need to get lucky getting a healing spell, or give up).
k&b players cannot buy items if they dont have the needed currency. the A button on controllers can. you go into debt and everything. what
The core of this game is great. I've had lots of fun playing through, beating all the bosses, and going endless. While still in it's early stages the only complaint I can think of is that I want more. More music, more abilities, more bosses, more variability in in progression, and more mechanics. This is something I see the devs being able to handle because they have given birth to a fantastic product.
Game hasn't had an update nor words from the dev for months now, feels like another abandoned project. It's barely playable with some janky hitboxes, needs a lot of polishing in the art department and spells balancing. Sad because we picked it up with my partner and it seemed to have some promise.
Very fun and chiily game for cat fans) Pleasant design with mix of cool music and magic effects stanning me in this game. In addition, you have multiplayer for yours cat-friends to annigilate all the monsters and have some fun) I recommended this game for everyone who came after hard work day and wanna chill!
It's pretty fun, starts slow and ends up in total chaos especially if you play with a friend would recommend if you like the game like Crab Champions, at the moment some patches are needed because in the end, it`s way too much chaos
Run'n'gun with nice spells combinations Like it a lot!
The game, while a bit bland in terms of music and visuals, is actually really fun. For its price, you get a really fun and surprisingly developed gameplay experience. Playing this to completion with my friends was a genuinely enjoyable experience. Even with my status nearing completion, I am completely compelled to keep playing to try out the challenges and just have a generally chill and simple game to play. Definitely worth the price.
