The Last Case of John Morley

WOW, Good game , good puzzles , and thought processes to go through, the story was really good as well.

The story is good but the game is poorly executed: 1. There's some AI assets, I don't understand why, it looks cheap and it's not subtle (for instance the painting in the asylum are horrible but not in scary more like cheap horrible). 2. The game is not well optimized even with my computer it lags. I still recommend it because the story is good, but please avoid AI it looks cheap while the other elements of the game are really good.

This horror game was one for the books, I loved the storyline, the twist was out of this world, however, I had my suspicions through the clues. It all was coming together slowly, but surely. The manor was beautiful, and eerie I will say. The puzzles were a bit difficult for me to solve, so I had some help, but overall this was one heck of a game. 10/10 would recommend if you love a good twist or just a good detective game.

The most "Lovecraftian" game imaginable without actually being Lovecraftian. It reminded me of Call of Cthulhu, a game I've played far too many times. Here I found that same noir flavor: wonderfully crafted environments, excellent sound design and music, unobtrusive puzzles, and a story full of twists that kept me glued to my seat from start to finish. I recommend it to anyone looking to be entertained without having to rack their brains. It's the perfect game to immerse yourself in the 1920s and enjoy some genuinely good scares. There's no combat or stealth, but the sense of dread is present almost all the time. Thanks for reading!

Kurz, aber recht spannend. Rätsel bestehen meist aus Codes suchen um Türen zu öffnen. Da man oft in diesigen, dunklen Gebäuden ohne Lampe unterwegs ist, trägt das zur düsteren Atmosphäre bei. Für mich hätte es länger dauern können.

Nice, short little Noir game. Super atmospheric with a couple jump scares. It has this sense of dread that remains constant throughout the game as you go from one creepy location to the next. I liked it overall, although it is not without bugs and glitches. The inconsistent spelling of certain things and names, as well as outright spelling mistakes was increasingly frustrating, but I really enjoyed it. I recommend it if you are looking for a couple hours of spooky crime solving with a bit of a twist.
