About
Lured in by shared nightmares, madmen travel to a remote island crowned by a silent Tower. No one remembers the journey.
The Lantern of the Laughless Saint is an open world RPG built around exploration and connection. You learn the land by walking it, following rumors, reading scraps of burned history, and meeting lost souls who wandered to the ends of the Earth, following the same feverish dream of a light buried beneath the Tower.
Somewhere in the depths is a theater with an empty stage, waiting for an audience. As you repair or ruin the lives of the island's inhabitants, the phantoms they leave behind take their seats in the audience. The more seats you fill, the more the island listens, and the greater the applause for your final act.
And if you don’t want to descend alone, you don’t have to. The entire game is fully playable in co-op: explore the island together, delve into the depths for treasures, and make the choices that will decide the fate of everyone on the island, and beyond...
A wild, ancient island to explore
Follow leads, find shortcuts into the Tower, stumble into side stories, and piece together what is real and what is mere delusion.
Open Ended
Most quests have multiple resolutions. Mercy, violence, compromise, deceit.
A large cast of bizarre characters
Many strange folk find their home on the island. A giant toad learning to read. An ancient skeleton who just wants to swim. A musician from a faraway land hunts for something precious. Everyone has a theory for why you’re here. None of them agree.
The Amphitheater
Your choices change the world. Treat others with kindness and generosity, and a trusted friend will take their seat in your audience. Fail or abuse them, and something darker takes their place. The House fills either way.
Visceral Combat with multiple weapon types
Punchy combat against strange horrors
Full co-op
Play the whole game together. Explore the world, share the spoils, and decide who you will become, because the consequences belong to all of you.
The Tower does not call the whole. It calls the broken, the wanting.
Fill the seats. Start the performance. Find out what is buried at the bottom of the well.

Reviews
A love letter to older elder scrolls games, janky as hell in the best way possible. Only a few minor bugs for me so far. Highly recommend!
This game is a lot of fun, it has released into early access and at this point nearly has a small update/hotfix daily, not to say that is going to continue but it shows that the developers are paying attention and care. There are a lot of good things about this game, first the map is great, fully detailed and lets you zoom, change direction and angle, perfect. Some AAA games cant even do that (starfield) Second the perk and leveling system is fun, most skills upon level up increase one of your 3 main stats, then you get skill points and a perk point, fun, customizable and similar to rpgs back in the day, awesome. There are random dungeons and encounters with interesting loot. Combat is simple, yet fun especially when you have a new spell to try. The quests are interesting and fun but dont expect to have your hand held, youll need to listen to what NPCs say and re read your quest directions. The lore is interesting but im not far enough to really speak about it. Overall this game is a fun throwback to some of the original rpg's I got into when i was a kid and i cant wait to see where full release leaves this game.

Very good Game!
Lots of fun, friends and I have been enjoying it a ton.
At first I saw someone fall from the sky. Then I was tasked to have a wonderful day. Elder Scrolls influence at its core. A near alternate reality to Tamriel.
I haven't enjoyed a game like this in years, this ♥♥♥♥ rocks.
As a proof of concept, this game is mindblowing and of unimaginable quality. As an actual videogame, this game is still a marvelous entry to the action RPG genre not seen since the good Elder Scrolls days. The polish they achieved in a month is incredible, and makes me horrendously excited for The Holy Fool (specially if it keeps the coop!!!), all the game needs to contend with titles of AAA quality is a polish of the UI elements and slight tweaks to the already unique and captivating visuals. Beautiful experience overall, and I completely recommend it.
Gutes Scrollslike!
Ive spent 75 hours on the island and have absolutely nothing to complain about. Really really looking forward to The Holy Fool
