About
Lured in by shared nightmares, madmen travel to a remote island crowned by a silent Tower. No one remembers the journey.
The Lantern of the Laughless Saint is an open world RPG built around exploration and connection. You learn the land by walking it, following rumors, reading scraps of burned history, and meeting lost souls who wandered to the ends of the Earth, following the same feverish dream of a light buried beneath the Tower.
Somewhere in the depths is a theater with an empty stage, waiting for an audience. As you repair or ruin the lives of the island's inhabitants, the phantoms they leave behind take their seats in the audience. The more seats you fill, the more the island listens, and the greater the applause for your final act.
And if you don’t want to descend alone, you don’t have to. The entire game is fully playable in co-op: explore the island together, delve into the depths for treasures, and make the choices that will decide the fate of everyone on the island, and beyond...
A wild, ancient island to explore
Follow leads, find shortcuts into the Tower, stumble into side stories, and piece together what is real and what is mere delusion.
Open Ended
Most quests have multiple resolutions. Mercy, violence, compromise, deceit.
A large cast of bizarre characters
Many strange folk find their home on the island. A giant toad learning to read. An ancient skeleton who just wants to swim. A musician from a faraway land hunts for something precious. Everyone has a theory for why you’re here. None of them agree.
The Amphitheater
Your choices change the world. Treat others with kindness and generosity, and a trusted friend will take their seat in your audience. Fail or abuse them, and something darker takes their place. The House fills either way.
Visceral Combat with multiple weapon types
Punchy combat against strange horrors
Full co-op
Play the whole game together. Explore the world, share the spoils, and decide who you will become, because the consequences belong to all of you.
The Tower does not call the whole. It calls the broken, the wanting.
Fill the seats. Start the performance. Find out what is buried at the bottom of the well.

It would have been a fun game but my chud ahh homeboy decided to cheat and ruin the game, Giving himself max stats and the best spells.
Best game - i dowloaded it, start the game, made character, joined friend lobby, talked with npc's, we left settlement to get a level and some loot, we got back to settlement after that we have started genocide killin childrens first Bethesda should learn from NerveLabs But for real, game have great potential and in last days achieve more than bethesda - cause NerveLabs is fixin their game, and gave us a first update while Tod manage to again ♥♥♥♥♥♥ most of skyrim mods cause of stupid update to useless creation club or so... Theres no really a lot ot say, since most of ppl already should knew how Oblivion and Morrowind looks like, this game is in my opinion somethin in between of those two, for now i have a 7h that i spent in game, achieved nothin, cant find a Bartolomeus and have fun killin mobs, developin my character and thinking about which perks i should unlock. Anyway game is really funny to play specially in co-op which works fine at moment in which im writin this, on other hand we have a specific visual concept, and bugs, but still game crash less than mammoths are flying across Skyrim.

Good.
I am absolutely loving this! There are a lot of Pros, but the one Con for me is that I used a line of credit given to me by Gromlaek the strange so its....its been difficult.
I'm on an island, I don't know who I am or where I am going but I am having fun and that's all that matters in my older curmudgeon gaming days
A very interesting Scrolls-like, with some good quality of life features like souls-like rolling
Its Janky, but fun and the Devs are putting their heart and soul into the game, Im excited to see it grow. If you dont like the jank its probably best to wait until it comes out of early access, otherwise jump right in, its a pretty great game!
What am I doing on this island? Am I the only sane person here? Where's that dang cat? How did this guy get up here? Are you having a good day?
Already excellent 10 hrs in. PEAK voice acting and writing. more personality than most games nowadays. nailed the old school feel while keeping it feeling modern. and theyre cranking out these patches. i bought the game when it had been out only twwo or three days, and the devs had already patched the bugs i saw people complaining about the most in the reviews i was reading before i bought it- dammmmmmnnnn kudos devs. bout to try the splitscreen with the girlfriend later mite update and leave more love. my biggest gripe is the optimisation, but it wasnt hard to get it a stable 50 fps on a mid machine singleplayer, so its acceptable, but would like to see it get better. 8/10 mite update
Cant say much since its very early access. Devs are frequently updating the game, adding various things and patching bugs. No quest markers but sometimes get map markers, although if you don't get a map marker it's not too hard to find by yourself with some neurons clicking. Don't rush the tower, you'll get clapped. Cant wait for 1.0 to see what the complete package looks like.
