Reviews
could be a great game but they dont put enough time in to keeping cheaters out and making the game run properly you have to play unofficial just to get a decent experience
If you're here, it's worth $20. If you play unofficial servers, most have options to buy dinosaurs. Officials are buggy and you will lose your dino's randomly.

beast of bermuda is alot better but their player count isnt there thats why 90% of the players are playing the isle the isle still needs alot of work big time to be good
Not Recommended. Unless you have a high-end PC, don't even bother downloading it. The game is poorly optimized and seems to rely on brute-force hardware instead of proper optimization. On top of that, my experience with the moderation team has been very disappointing. Some admins appear to abuse their powers by handing out punishments unfairly or without proper explanation, which creates a frustrating environment for players. The game has potential, but between the poor optimization and questionable moderation, I can't recommend it in its current state. I would wait until both the performance and the way the community is managed improve.
amouuzant
Ceratosaurus rex :/
You get to be a dinosaur and do dinosaur things. 10/10 what else is there to say.
THIS GAME IS INCREDIBLE! ....... In theory. I love the idea of this game and the graphics and mechanics make it a way better option over Path of Titans. Unfortunately, the game devs chose to use actual russet potatoes to run their servers off of resulting in every possible server running like a '98 Dell desktop trying to play the Oblivion remake. It seems as though "Afterthought" was not just a company name but rather a foundation for their development team because the entire server system seems like an afterthought. Both official and unofficial servers will show a ping range from 30s to up into the 500s. 30s aren't a problem, right? Well, that is until you actually log into the server. Immediately the ping jumps into the hundreds and you rubberband back and forth more than Gen Z's mental illness diagnoses. Want to jump? Yeah, right. You're immediately teleported back to the ground. Swim across a small river? Nah. The game will relentlessly pop you back to the edge of the water just when you think you've almost made it across. I've attempted to play dozens of servers all over the world with the same issues on every single one of them. Maybe I'll revisit this review if Afterthought ever decides to make it actually function. But I don't have high hopes.
